Hello everyone! I'm new here....but so glad I found this forum! My date is May 31. I live in Virginia Beach but I'm having surgery about 45 minutes away from home. My surgeon only requires a 1 day liquid preop diet. Everyone seems to have 2 weeks so I'm wondering why he's different. I'm definitely going to ask him about this during my preop appointment on may 23. When I checked into the hospital for surgery last week.....the lady at the counter told me that she had surgery too and her husband as well and that now they are ALWAYS cold! follow me on Instagram: BeachGirlLosingWeight

I'm doing well! The pain at my large incision site was also the worst, but it started to take a turn for the better just yesterday. Yesterday I was even able to run a few errands.As of yesterday I lost 12 lbs- totally blows my mind! follow me on Instagram: BeachGirlLosingWeight

Just know and accept that the first 12 hours or so following your surgery are going to suck! But once that anesthesia wears off you will feel 95% normal again! I'm 3 days post op and have already lost 6 lbs this week. Walk as much as you can and sip sip sip! Each day is getting better and better for me. follow me on Instagram: BeachGirlLosingWeight

When did you stop needing pain meds? Today was my 1st full day at home (Tues the 31st was my surgery). I'm in so much pain on my left side....hurts so so bad. Just curious about when others were able to get by without pain meds. follow me on Instagram: BeachGirlLosingWeight

Good luck to you dealing with this hater.. I was just sitting here thinking about haters when I saw this post. I get my surgery at the end of May. Yes it will be! They gave me the choice of May 19th but our family is going to Florida a week after that.....so they advised to wait until I get back from trip....so May 31 it is! Follow me on Instagram: beachgirllosingweight
