Congrats! You're looking terrific. One suggestion for crunchy/salty snack. If you're a costco member (they may be elsewhere), I found these Parmesan Snacks called Whisps. 100 cal., 9 grams of Protein, they also seem really salty but the sodium isn't too high. Continued success! Daniel Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Hormones

Dawn, Aww! I'm glad it resonated. I just think people (in general) are quick to end emotions. I remember when my mom died, I had friends & family suggest maybe I take medication to deal with my grief. I thought: "Okay, but my mom just died. It was the worst thing that I ever faced. Doesn't that necessitate emotion?" I was in grief, I was broken-she deserved that respect and I deserved my time to mourn. I know-heavy comparison. But I do think people don't listen to the feelings that bubble up, when your soul cries out from pain or joy. I was truly remorseful for having becoming so big, but it never started clicking until right after my RNY. Okay, enough rambles. Live in your light Dawn! Hormones

Perhaps your spirit is just infusing you with the feeling of gratitude? I'd live in that moment and let the emotion come up and release. You're still adjusting to your new life and will experience a myriad of emotions-that's the mind/body/spirit connection; and that's a blessing in and of itself! 22. Thank you, Tingting. My Bariatric surgeon said in his 14-year practice, he's only had a few patients lose the same weight, but no one in the time frame. So that felt nice to hear. I gradually introduced swimming and walking. At my 6 months checkup I had lost about 180 lbs. he thought I might only lose another 30-40 lbs (by my one year checkup). I wasn't great with that so yes, I did switch my exercise routine to daily. I got up to 4.66 miles a day. It took me an hour to complete the 4.66 miles. I had a body lift Wednesday and weighed in at 225 so 279 lbs. in 12.5 months. On aside note I had a flebectomy performed on each leg back in July, so I haven't exercised the way I used to-but once I'm able to, I want to get back to something like what I did before. That's, my story, lol. My best to you, Daniel Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
