Before surgery i passed my bowels at least twice a day and at least 3 are 4 times a week..... now i don't go without drinking coffee this is so disturbing doctors appointment coming soon i think this is an issue

I suffer with bad cramps and my period came down right after my surgery. The idea of it wasn't so bad because the pain medicine they give will have you floating on air no worries......there after I was sent home with a Vicodin/norco pain pills 60 of them.....YOU WILL NOT SUFFER LOL

About how long will we feel pressure from eating? And liquids how long does the small sips last?

I just got out the shower using.dial gold antibacterial soap since my surgery and for the second time my incision is leaking a little the last time I squeezed around the incinsion site and clear liquid and light red discharged from the incinsion site.the site is 1 of the 2 biggest incision I have I'm not sure if this is where my stomach was taken out are where the hital hernia was repaired my 1st doctors appointment is tomorrow since surgery ( may 17) and I will ask them. Hoping I'm not infected are anything bad I'll be back with an update. I am so grateful that I was approved for surgery within 3 days after submitting documents to aetna. I am grateful to have another chance at life to deal with my son whom is 2 years old and very active . I am 4'11 and.was well on my way into the 300's if I had not decided to have this surgery at 27 Years old I'm just to young for this weight. I'm so thankful for this opportunity. thank God for insurance because I'm not sure how I would have been able to afford a 40,000 surgery. I was blessed to receive great care and my nurses were excellent. Of course my doctors we're so sweet and I loved my entire experience. As far as I am concerned, the numbers on the scale are pretty irrelevant until you can reliably get in your protein and fluids every day. Getting enough protein and fluids is critical for healing and for weight loss. That said, none of us lose at a constant or steady rate. We all experience stalls and slow downs and almost everyone has a stall about three weeks after surgery. Weight gain in the first week of surgery is usually because of the IV fluids and swelling (you did just have major surgery). Just follow your program. Focus on getting in at least 64 oz of Fluid and reaching your protein target. Take your Vitamins and supplements as instructed. Exercise when cleared. Stay off the scale.
