@thebestofme it shed pretty bad at the beginning but I take biotin and try not to use much heat on my hair. I also use olive oil and when wearing it natural I deep condition at least twice a week. Hope this helps [emoji4] -

I was sleeved a year ago and experienced mild hair loss. I take biotin and make sure I eat enough protein daily and drink water. I don't know if you wear your hair natural but I make sure to keep my hair moisturized and do low maintenance styles. I notice my hair is starting to grow back fuller now.

I ordered genpro a few weeks ago and it has been a life saver! I have added it to smoothies, coffee, and Water at this point with absolutely no taste. There is no big hunkin' cup you use its just a tiny scoop and each scoop has 30 grams of Protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Tuna, steamed veggies, cheese, yogurt, refried Beans. I also made a smoothie the other day using low fat vanilla yogurt and strawberries. You can add plain Protein powder to it. And lastly, a veggie stew. I was able to mash up the vegetables in the broth and it was pretty good! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Ok so I'm 1 week post op and my body is acting a little strange towards Protein shakes. I have tried the ones I used on my pre op diet and they make me gag. I have purchased some new ones and I'm having the same feeling. I move to the soft food phase in 3 days but does anyone have any suggestions on how to get down these Protein Shakes. I'm know I'm not getting my recommended amount but I don't know what else to try Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Thanks! I spoke to the nurse and she told me to put some Protein on my tummy. I sipped a little bit of the narco but I'm not going to chug down a whole dose I was advised not to take Tylenol because there is some mixed in with the narco. I feel a bit better after those few sips. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I cheated 3 x but chose a small piece of chicken breast instead of oily greasy stuff. I felt bad about it but I'm resetting myself at this point. My pre op diet was originally for 1 week but my surgery was moved to this week. Thinking positive thoughts Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
