  1. I had that same pain (banded May 22 2008), I would eat and it would go away. My Dr said that is very common as well as hiccups. He says that as your stomach is empty and your hungry it shifts and rubs against your diaphram and causes pain in the shoulder area. SOUNDS CRAZY!! I know! But many people I have read had the same thing and when you eat and fill your belly it moves away from your diaphram and does not hurt anymore.. :thumbup: Hope that helps
  2. Hi I just started on this site. I live in Spring (sure you know where that is from Sugarland), I am scheudled for my consult with Dr. Richard Collier (in the Woodlands). I am already ready, but you know this is what I have to do. I have been doing everything to get ready with insurance, other Dr. visits recomendations etc. How long would you say it took for you to get your surgery once you met with your Dr. and decided you wanted to do it.
