I just joined the site today had my gastric sleeve surgery last week on the 21st. Came home on the 23rd. Was able to do the stairs in my home on the 24th. The majority of my discomfort seems to be coming from the hernia that was repaired at the same time. So I had my surgery on a Thursday, came home Saturday. Sunday was my first full day at home. First day was able to eat three bites of Jell-O and over the course of the day drink one half of a Premade Atkins shake. Yesterday I had one the whole Jell-O container and to Atkins shakes plus maybe One cup of water.

Hello all,I just found the site today. I had my gastric sleeve procedure done last week April 21. Also had a hernia fixed at the same time. I feel so bad for the people who have mentioned Throwing up post surgery. Hick ups and coughing are bad enough. Luckily that's the worst I have done. This Friday will be my first follow-up visit, allowing me to switch from liquid diet too soft foods.
