I started out adding my meds to my yogurt but it made me not like my yogurt so now I grind the meds and open the capsules and put them in my mouth and swallow with flavored water. I started mine last Monday. I think it gets easier as you go but make sure you drink all of your Protein because it helps to make you feel full, besides it being healthy. Good luck! Sounds like we are having it the same day. My stomach growled LOUDLY for about 3 days when I started the liquid diet. I am having more trouble controlling my blood sugars than anything else, not used to them dropping so low. It's important to not accidentally skip a Protein shake...my bad I love your dream! My surgery is also May 2nd and my preop diet is two weeks...which means I am HUNGRY hahaha. I have read that some of the diets are different, mine is all liquid. How is everyone else's preop diet? Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

Hi everyone, I am new and this is my first post. So glad to have found this site. I am having gastric bypass on May 2nd, so just a week away. This liquid diet two weeks prior is rough! I hate having my picture taken and I hate looking at them even more but I decided a few years ago after having grandchildren that I would let everyone take my picture anyway because if something happened to me I wanted to be a part of family memories. But those photos were eye opening. I think I saw myself smaller than I am, although I don't know how since the scale doesn't lie.
