Praise the Lord for ALL His infinite wisdom and mercy!!!!!!!! Well, my DH had his ultrasound today, and we should have the results tomorrow, Lord willing. I think it's going to be OK either way, he just can't stand to wait for the results. he even had pain when they did the US today, so I don't know. Oh, by the way, I can't have my surgery because I don't have $5,000 up front. Mom said we should call the company to complain. they cover everything else 80%, why not this? We don't understand it, and we work at a hospital! you would think that they would want their employees to get healthy through this, but whatever. I am hanging in there, praying for the best! I know I want the weather to straighten up, so I can get moving and exercise! Well, may we all have a blessed day with Jesus!!!!!!!:sneaky::drool:

I love Him supremely, I could not make it in this ol' world, if I didn't have the Lord! PLEASE pray for us!!!!!!!(it will be alright, I know. May we all have a blessed day with Jesus!!!!!!!

:thumbup:GOD BLESS THE PARENTS WHO DRUGGED US. The other day, someone at a store in our town read that a Methamphetamine lab had been found in an old farmhouse in the adjoining county and he asked me a rhetorical question. "Why didn't we have a drug problem when you and I were growing up?" I replied, I had a drug problem when I was young: I was drug to church on Sunday morning. I was drug to church for weddings and funerals. I was drug to family reunions and community socials no matter the weather. I was drug by my ears when I was disrespectful to adults. I was also drug to the woodshed when I disobeyed my parents, told a lie, brought home a bad report card, did not speak with respect, spoke ill of the teacher or the preacher, or if I didn't put forth my best effort in everything that was asked of me. I was drug to the kitchen sink to have my mouth washed out with soap if I uttered a profanity. I was drug out to pull weeds in mom's garden and flower beds and cocklebur's out of dad's fields. I was drug to the homes of family, friends and neighbors to help out some poor soul who had no one to mow the yard, repair the clothesline, or chop some firewood; and, if my mother had ever known that I took a single dime as a tip for this kindness, she would have drug me back to the woodshed. Those drugs are still in my veins and they affect my behavior in everything I do, say, or think. They are stronger than cocaine, crack, or heroin; and, if today's children had this kind of drug problem, America would be a better place. God bless the parents who drugged us. Praise the Lord, and thank Him for His delivering power!!!!!!! Just thank Him for everything He has done, is doing, and is going to do! Praise God above! Still holding on until I have my sleep study done in May. Sometimes I get impatient:embaressed_smile:, but patience is a virtue, and so, I must wait. Please keep praying for my family and I. Thank you, prayer goes where no man can! May we all have a blessed day with Jesus!

For all of those struggling with food issues and weight issues.......I am praying for us ALL! Deliverance in the name of Jesus!!!!!!! Hope this helps....did for me!:biggrin2::rolleyes2: LORD, PROP US UP Every time I am asked to pray, I think of the old deacon who always prayed, Lord, prop us up on our leanin' side. After hearing him pray that prayer many times, someone asked him why he prayed that prayer so fervently. He answered, 'Well sir, you see, it's like this...I got an old barn out back. It's been there a long time, it's withstood a lot of weather, it's gone through a lot of storms, and it's stood for many years. It's still standing. But one day I noticed it was leaning to one side a bit. So I went and got some pine poles and propped it up on its leaning side so it wouldn't fall. Then I got to thinking about that and how much I was like that old barn. I've been around a long time. I've withstood a lot of life's storms. I've withstood a lot of bad weather in life, I've withstood a lot of hard times, and I'm still standing too. But I find myself leaning to one side from time to time, so I like to ask the Lord to prop us up on our leaning side, cause I figure a lot of us get to leaning, at times. Sometime we get to leaning toward anger, leaning toward bitterness, leaning toward hatred, leaning toward cussing, leaning toward a lot of things that we shouldn't. So we need to pray, 'Lord, prop u s up on our leaning side, so we will stand straight and tall again, to glorify the Lord. If you stare at this barn for a second you will see who will help us stand straight and tall again.

:biggrin2:Well, I am still waiting for my surgery pre-op stuff to get done. I had to reschedule my sleep study appt. today, for May 7th. I had forgot that I scheduled myself to work today, thinking that my appt. was tomorrow. OOPS. Now I have to wait longer, but I think I am SO ready to have this done! Please continue to pray for my family and I. I, too, have an autistic son, that I need to be able to take care of, I'm praying to God that He will help me through this. May we all have a blessed day with Jesus!!!!!!!:smile2:

:cursing:I am new to this thread, and am so glad I found a Christian thread!!!!!!! My DH just decided that I could have the lapband done, praise God!!!!!!! I am trusting Him that everything will be ok! I'm a winner either way, if I go or if I stay! I am in the middle of having all my preop stuff done, not too much to do, just an EKG, blood work (my preference), and a sleep study! I am excited that this will work for me, and even my DH (who was so against it), is thinking about it now. He wants to see what happens to me first. I leave it all in the Lord's hands, and I hope to make some Christian friends while I am here! I have been a Christian for 9 years now, and am working my way to heaven more and more everyday! Hope to hear from y'all soon! Love and prayers-Until Jesus Comes--Karen
