    Waist trainer after surgery?

Abdominal binders are different than waist trainers. If they send you home with an abdominal binder that's different. Binders are meant to support your abdominal muscles during the healing process. Waist trainers are meant to be worn while exercising.

    Waist trainer after surgery?

I think that is an absolutely terrible idea. You are going to be swollen for months. Waist trainers also make you sweat. You don't need any additional moisture in the area of your incisions.

    HELP!

My doc told me if after 3 weeks the scale doesn't move, then be concerned. Otherwise, just keep following the diet you were given as many of our diets varied. At 5 weeks out I was on very small portions. dinner would be a bite of chicken and if I had room some steamed veggies. I would stall CONSTANTLY but usually by the third week the stall would break. I have lost 75 pounds since I was sleeved on 4/27/16 (don't go by my pic as it is from May). Stick with it. I am sure your stall will break soon

1 week post op weight loss

To be fair, I think we all anticipate a large weight loss right off the bat. I was sleeved on 4/27/16 and at first only lost 5 pounds after surgery. then within a month I had lost 30 pounds. Now I am up t0 75 pounds lost. I have 21 pounds left to get to my goal weight as set forth by the doc. It takes a lot of time. Swelling and water retention weigh a lot more than you think. I bet within the next couple of weeks you will notice a huge difference. Remember to remain hydrated during this transition. And also remember to seek support when you need it!

Wait like two weeks to step on the scale. You're pumped full of fluids. After two weeks you should be pleasantly surprised Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  11. I literally had to eat non stop. Take a bite of an egg then sit a couple mins then take another bite and wait. It gets way way easier though. Now I can eat my Protein easily. Fiber is an issue though for me Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
