  1. I have a full-thickness tear in my rotator cuff, so surgery on 9/13. Ugh, and yay all at the same time. Glad it can be repaired surgically, not looking forward to an immobilized right arm for 6 weeks :(

I wasn't trying to outdo anyone with a surgical horror story. Just trying to provide support.

No worries, I know it's going to be painful and a bitch of a recovery! Still, it's better than a year + of physical therapy that may or may not help. And let me tell you, it's painful NOW. I have to take narcotics to sleep :( Thanks for all the concern and well-wishes! Surgery will be 13 Sept, I've got more whining to do yet!

Yes @ShelterDog64....that's the attitude to have. You know it's going to be rough but the alternative is also not acceptable.....and you go right ahead a whine away!! :-).....and @suzzzzz I didn't mean to make you feel that way it was just when going back and reading all the comments one after the other that it just "looked" bad....nothing any one person meant to do....and the important thing is ShelterDog64 didn't take it that way.....but I just wanted to let you know I didn't intend to make you feel that way.
