    4 Days Post-Op Blues

I went through the the same thing. I had mine done on April 20th. I ended up to the point that a shower was enough to make me want to pass out. I got some pedialite, that helped. I also would get crushed ice. Like from sonic or wherever you have local. That helped me more than anything. At about 5 or 7 days I had Greek yogurt.. I watered it down with almond milk. That was a HUGE boost. Mentally and physically. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App I was thinking about some crushed ice earlier & I'll try that to help prevent dehydration. I didn't think about the Pedialite but I have a feeling that's gonna make me nauseous too. My nausea medicine is even my enemy at this point. I know I made the right decision getting the surgery but these past few days have been absolute H E L L!!!

    4 Days Post-Op Blues

I'm about to try some broth now. I've tried room temp water & it goes down a little better, but not much. Thanks for the tips.
  3. Had my sleeve this past Thursday & I feel horrible. Still have a lot of gas & pain. I've been walking some but not as much as I can (I know this will help with the pain & gas.) My main concern is that I can't tolerate anything. I've only been able to take a few sips ofwater & protein shakes before I start to feel nauseous. Any suggestions on how to get pass this? I don't wanna get dehydrated & end up in the hospital.

    5 Days Into Pre-Op Diet & STARVING

I've tried the popsicles & they satisfy my sweet tooth, but not the hunger [emoji53]
  5. My surgery is scheduled for next Thursday (SUPER EXCITED), I'm 5 days in my pre-op diet & am I'm still starving [emoji26]. I'm just now starting to experience the hunger headaches. In addition to my 2 protein shakes, I'm eating 1/4 cup cooked vegetables as my snack & just ate a 6 oz of non-fat yogurt but nothing seems to be working until I eat my daily meal, which is usually dinner. Any suggestions on what else to eat to stop the food cravings [emoji120] [emoji120] [emoji120] .

    Pre-Op Diet Day 1

I tried the Meal Replacement shakes & they were pretty decent. They just didn't stop me from being hungry. I might have to check it out. TY

    Anyone getting sleeved in may

    I'm in TX & my surgery is 5/12 .
  9. Just finished the PAINFUL task of drinking my 1st protein shake about 1 1/2 hours ago & my body is still cursing me out [emoji38]. I'm STARVING, feel myself getting cranky & developing a headache. For some reason I convinced myself the protein shake would taste like the meal replacement shakes I drunk during the weight management phase. BOY WAS I WRONG! Surgery is on 5/12 so I have no choice but to do it, but man this is HARD. [emoji45]

    Happy, Happy, Happy!

Congratulations!!! Very encouraging for us that are pre-op. Keep up the good work.
  11. Hello everyone. I'm new to this & normally wouldn't put myself out there like this but with this new phase of my life I'm about to enter I figured what the hell! I'm having surgery on 5/12 & on Thursday I'll be starting my pre-op diet. I have no clue what to expect (side effects wise) & from reading some of the posts I'm now officially nervous & afriad I might not be as successful in this pre-op phase as I thought I would be .
