Why do people keep taking my signature for Notorious Novembers...I made that for myself lol

8 days to go!! I cheated today on my diet...took 1 bite of cake...woops...I just had to have a taste. I'm done with that though...mmm back to snacking on SF jello and popsicles.

I had my egd today and decided to weigh myself before I went into the OR!! I was down 11 lbs since Monday on preop!!! I have until the 17th to have lost 5 lbs and I already passed it! I hope to be down even more on Monday maybe like 15 lbs and on surgery day the 24th maybe ill be down 20 or more!! :Dancing_sorry:

I can't wait to get rid of that feeling...always feels like something is stuck in my throat. Hate it!

I've already met Kyla though...she's the only one lol Due to her coming here to my house to bring me Protein powder :Dancing_sorry: The only way i can stand either the vanilla or chocolate is to mix it with about 3 handfuls of small ice cubes...it makes it tolerable. Lol

I dunno if I will be able to stay or not...mom and I had to do a little bit of shopping for me right after the appt...maybe you guys can come a little early...I might see you when I come out of the appt etc. I can try...we will have to see. If i was down 11 lbs today i hope I'm down even more monday!!

Updated...if you look at my ticker or my name on the spreadsheet ive lost 11 lbs since monday on preop so far!!! I get weighed again on Monday that will be the end of week one and then the end of week 2 will be surgery day :Dancing_sorry:

I was diagnosed with Gerd when I was 15. It's been bothering me more the past few months so I am guessing it's the hernia. Will a hernia repair make surgery more painful/longer/longer recovery?

EGD wasn't bad at all i was back in recovery before I knew it and I never even knew I had something down my throat cept it's sore. Found out today that we met the deductible with insurance so we only had to pay 5% of the surgery price so we only paid 820 bucks today instead of 1700!! How do they repair a hiatal hernia? I've been told it will make it take longer for recovery by some and more painful. I love the staff in the south tower...awesome people. Can't wait until my weigh in Monday and my surgery the next monday!!!! :Dancing_sorry:

I'm down 11 lbs since Monday!! :tongue2: preop diet rules. Had my EGD today turns out I have a hiatal hernia so have to have it repaired during surgery. 10 more days!

Got my EGD done this morning. Decided to weigh myself before I went in. Down 11 lbs since first day or preop diet. -39 total :tongue2: Found out I have a hiatal hernia that has to be repaired when i get banded on the 24th. Woopie.

EGD tomorrow at 9:30am fun times.

I wish it was the 24th! lol preop diet is hard and I'm hungry lol

I have to pay 1700 at my EGD i think I was told...thats the 10% of my lapband surgery the insurance didnt cover they told me to have it for the EGD...dunno why we pay it then but yeah lol

aaaack dont mention food especially chocolate -die- lol

my surgery is the 24th and i had my preop start on monday I'm on day 3 o.o

My date is the 24th too. I'm on day 3 of preop its not as bad as day 1 ansd 2 were. Feeling quite a bit better.

My appt with Jeannie is at 11am I'll prob be there a few minutes before. She told me it would last 30 minutes. She is going to weigh me and I dunno what else...I am just hoping I am down 5 lbs. Eating this few calories i would say I HAVE TO BE lol. SO wear comfy clothes on friday for my EGD and no jewelry?
