To be truthful I am not worried. I have learned so much from this site about eating around the band and problems that may happen that I know what to do if I start to have problems and how to fix them. Also I will always keep in contact with my doctor. I have never once second-guessed my choice to get the band.

Yes Jaime is damn good proof. Look at her weight!!! She was banded at the END of feb and is down almost 100 lbs!! She is doing sooo good! I love her :thumbup:

just because you're MO doesnt mean you won't lose with the band...I am Super obese the highest there is and my doc thinks im going to do fantastic. No worries SNT. I was just saying that the DSers think their surgery is the only one that works. And how it pisses me off. People here are proof the lapband works.

I just saw a post on the DS forum about how a guy lost 200 lbs in 2 years...well shit people can do that with the band too so why is DS better? =/

I think added the forums for the other surgeries might have been a bad idea. The DSers are brining it up on OH and are going crazy about it...uh oh i see some problems coming on

It sounds like an allergic reaction to the bandages that you had. I get those too if I have adhesives on my skin too long. From band-aids even. Just keep them clean and if they itch use your hydro-cortisone.

lol it's surprising how some of these 'sports' become olympic games...lol next they'll add bean bag tosses and horse shoes.
