Well in college I was a journalism major...learned it doesnt matter either way if you use the comma before and...I myself don't like to. So actually red, white and blue is right as well as red, white, and blue.
-
That sucks. I'd like some icecream too...yet again none in the house...lol I guess that's a good thing then -drinks her water- I'd like to mix one with some crystal light but I got my water too frozen to mix with a packet. Wooops.
-
-hugs- Feel better hun. I'm sure as the week goes on you will be able to sleep better and rest. Thanks for making me feel better.
-
Thanks hun. I am hoping and praying that it works out. I can't give up after getting this far. I just gotta have faith like you said. ((((((BBK))))))

I enjoy me some crystal light. I haven't tried that flavor yet. I don't like any of the teas though...well the green tea ones are okay...but I can't stand the tea ones mixed with peach or raspberry. -gag-

Should LapBandTalk have forums for OTHER Weight Loss Surgeries?

No worries Chickie we'll always love you  -
It's Red, white and blue...but if you really want to you can add a second comma. It doesn't matter much.

Thanks. From what the papers he gave me said...I am having a Cat scan of my chest with contrast, a high resolution chest cat scan, and a cat scan of the sinuses. Then in the next appt he wants me to have a lung volume, dico, and spiro. Whatever that stuff is lol. And the paper on the apnea study said within the next week or so I would get a call for making an appt for the sleep study. It's hard to make all these appointments around my mom's work schedule. The Monday one on August 25th is fine...but I think the September 3rd one is going to need changed. But I don't know. It's just more hoops to jump through. But when he told me 10 weeks, my heart dropped. I'm supposed to be having surgery in November. That draws things close. Thanks hun. I need all the good vibes I can get. I am trying to stay positive too. I'm thinking I've made it this far don't give up now...it's just more hoops everything will work out. It's hard though. Surgery is coming up around the corner and I have to do a lot of stuff for the pulmonologist. But of course like I said...my nurse/surgeon are going to speak with him and see why he wants so many tests and see if EVERYTHING is needed.

Thanks. I hope I do too. My lung capacity was 87 on the first blow...she said that was good had me take a pump from an inhaler and it went to 90. It was good in the first place...so I don't understand why they want me to go through so much. I have absolutely no symptoms of sleep apena either. If you don't have symptoms of it why test for it? And I've had surgeries before so it's not like I crashed in them.
-
Thanks hun. I hope she does too. So much testing seems so pointless. I've already had lung xrays too so why even more. I had one breathing test...90% lung capacity...why more My nurse and surgeon didn't think I needed a sleep apnea test...why now? I just don't get it. I wish you luck through the fury of Fay. Hope things go well.

I used to drink Diet Cherry vanilla DR Pepper A LOT...as well as other pops. I dropped them out of my diet completely in February.

I just drink the regular crystal lights, Love the lemonade, fruit punch, grape, orange, and apple. My nutritionist says caffiene is bad for your tummy.

I'm just starting to worry again, I was told yesterday my surgery will be in november for sure...then this damn pulmonologist wants to make me do 10 weeks of shit for him that will go into my surgery time. Just pisses me the fuck off. I was not told I would have to do so much more shit...and my nurse was surprised when I gave her a list of what he wanted. I have to have my surgery this year or I won't ever be able to have it. I won't have insurance after December 31st. I guess I was meant to not be banded.
-
So I am pissed off. I get to the pulmonologist. Take my breathing test. I have 90% lung capacity. They say that's awesome. Wait for the Dr. He's late because someone crashed in surgery. So he comes to see me. Insists I do 10 weeks of testing, cat scans more breathing tests, and a sleep apnea study. I explain to him my nurse and surgeon didn't think that was neccesary. He said he wants to do them because the lady that just had surgery crashed and it turns out she had sleep apnea. So I am all pissed and junk. Get home, call my nurse. She says she will talk to my surgeon and to the pulmonologist to see if I really need all of that, because she doesn't think I do. So she told me not to worry too much about it yet. But I am. If I do this 10 weeks of shit I'll be going into November still doing shit for the pulmonologist. My surgery is supposed to be in November. I am frustrated and pissed, and just not very happy, depressed. I was told that today would be my last step, JUST TODAY, and then I just had to finish this 6 month diet. But yeah, so much for that. When my nurse calls back later this week it better be good news. That's all I can say.

That sucks, I'm glad he was okay with it though. Lesson learned: Always do it before dinner.:cool2: Lol hello Blow Job Queen.

Boo Boo Kitty's PS Journey

Good luck hun. I hope everything goes well and you have a speedy recovery. Love you! -
Anywho. I prefer a nice cold icey water.
-
Risking messing up your pouch is stupid though...I didn't mean to say people stupid in general risking messing up your surgery is dumb though
-
I'm glad you found something that is working for you.
-
Why would you want to chance something like that though? I don't get it...My surgeon says no, my nutritionist says no, my nurse says no, they all say no lol ...and so does every book I've read lol and half of the people on here. lol
-
I really hate when people on certain posts say...it's okay I do it and my band is fine... Example: http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f17/can-you-still-have-sodas-after-being-banded-72863/index2.html Stupid people.
