WATER ... It's sposed to be good for ya!
Froggi replied to Southern Missy's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
If you use regular bottled water and buy the little pouches for them in crystal lite it's fine. Those are sugar free. -
I got my pedometer today. It makes me happy. It announces out loud when I have hit my goals

The packets are sugar free they aren't very bad for you at all. -
Even if I wasn't going through insurance, my lapband surgeon requires a psych eval, at least 1 1/2 months of nutritional classes, and all the lab work etc. The only thing different with my insurance is it's 6 months nutritional classes/supervised weightloss diet.

Doing that is fine, it just adds taste to the water so it's more bearable for some people. I adore regular water though. But it's fine. -
surgery cancelled so sad and mad right now

My doctor is making me have an ekg before even thinking about cutting me open. I don't understand why some doctors don't do it. -
Thanks for the inspiring post. I love hearing success stories. Welcome to LBT and keep us posted.

After it shoves the food in your system out of the pouch and will make you hungry. Before they don't want liquid in the pouch because you won't get enough solids in your pouch to keep you full and you will get hungry quicker. Plus the liquid already in your pouch can make the solids go through faster too. As for drinking Water I drink it when I'm thirsty, or when I'm hungry and I don't need to eat anymore. Also I drink it when I'm working out and when I am bored and on here etc. Whenever I feel like I need something in my hand to keep me from eating something. I know I haven't been banded yet but I am on the 6 month diet so I need to take in a bunch of water as well and calories between 1200-1600 usually 1200-1500. -
the whole video is cheesy lol but it helps you lose weight and burn a heck of a lot of calories

I'd like to make a suggestion for a permanent thread. I am on a 6 month diet and a lot of people including me have asked about a specific place for us all to talk. I get lost trying to find where I posted LOL. Anyway take it into consideration. I'd appreciate it and I'm sure many others would too. It would be nice for us all to have a specific section to get together and talk.:cool2: Thanks.

Which Number Will AETNA Look At?
Froggi replied to Jameskc's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Almost all insurances use the before BMI before the 6 month. Mine is but my BMI is way high but either way you should be fine. I wish you luck. -
Informational seminar scheduled for June 2nd
Froggi replied to Bjornsyouruncle's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
You guys had to pay to start the process? I don't pay anything until surgery. What the insurance doesn't cover anyway. I guess every place is different. -
I so agree with this. I get tired of seeing all the negative things people say. I come here for positive information and all these people are saying it's the worst mistake they made etc. It's annoying. Even after seeing all of the negativity I am still going to get banded in November.

Goto http://www.lapbandtalk.com/groups/ You should find it there then you can also make a forum if you haven't yet

Welcome to LBT. Glad you are getting the ball running. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask us. Help is just an enter button away. -
I love this. Banding is new in my area it's only been around since March, and I'm going to be banded around November. So I definetly need some banding buddies. No one around here knows anything. Well the banding place does, but I want to learn from people's experiences.

I had that problem for 4 weeks a few weeks ago. I went to my gyn he said I was fine. I hadn't had a period for 3 months before that and had it last 1 month when I did get it and the whole time it was very heavy like yours.

I have a heart murmur Does this matter?
Froggi replied to yellowroseaz's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have a heart murmur. My first consultation with the nurse she heard an irregular heartbeat. I was just told I had to get an EKG first and then I could have surgery if it was okay.
