I am going through all the jumping through hoops right now too. I get dropped from the insurance december 31st due to me turning 23 august 7th. Everything should be done in october though but my surgery and my surgery should be in november. But I keep worrying my insurance is going to draw things out and make things take longer, by ordering extra tests etc (like they did last week). My nurse said she would try to get ahold of them and tell them I dont need the tests they wanted. But either way if things go WELL surgery will be in November, if things fail no surgery at all for me, which would bloooooooooow and I would be so upset

I'm sure your wife will do wonderful. You are such a nice husband. Wish you both luck.

a lot of guys my age trim it, ive seen a few completely shaved even the balls and its just weird, as for guys my age also...they complain if we aren't completely shaved and smooth. >< I know it's stupid but yeah I also feel kinda gross having a bush but yeah that's just me. GG SHE'S BEEN WATCHING POOOOOOOOOORN lol

It all depends on your doc when I am actually on my pre op diet 2 weeks before surgery I wont have to lose anything, just can't gain. But on a calorie intake of 1200-1600 my nutritionist has me on for insurance purposes...I have lost 12 lbs in a month
-
but yeah some 30/32's are too small on me some are too big but i just tried on a 26/28 but yet i have some 26/28s that look wonderful on me, I think it all depends on how it's cut, made, where it came from too.

I'm 5'9 so I guess I need to lose more to go down a size. The shirt is loser in the tummy but the arms are still pretty tight. =/
-
okay I tried on something a size smaller, still too tight. Not as tight though.
-
I've lost 12 lbs and I still don't think I can wear 1 size smaller not sure though.
-
I agree with this.

Wishing all the people with surgery soon luck!!

Are We ready for a Black President?
Froggi replied to TheWatcher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I see what green is saying. the young voters such as myself are really getting into politics now and Obama is one the younger people we've seen run for president, so we can relate to him more. That's why he is so popular with the college students. As for looks he is good looking but that has nothing to do with why I am voting for him. I vote on the issues not a beauty contest. But I do agree that having clinton with obama wouldn't be very good for us. -
congratulations. I too am on this size 24/7 lol

I'm so sorry your insurance is like that. I wish you lots of luck though.

Did U Have 2 Have The 500+ Psychological Evaluation?
Froggi replied to speck's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I had to do the long question thing first. Then we talked for about 2 hours about the surgery, my past, eating habits etc. My whole appt lasted about 3 hours and I didn't have to have any other ones. I was approved by him and on to the next steps. -
Getting banded on June 27 - are my expectations realistic?
Froggi replied to gigem's topic in The Guys’ Room
Have at it. lol -
a 2 year weight history seema a bit extreme. I would get ahold of them and ask questions. I was told to do the 6 month diet like you're doing because I didn't have a bunch of papers on past weight loss.
-
Even with my weight being so high I was recommended getting lapband because I am younger and the slower weightloss will cause less complications with my skin etc. Plus there's no way in hell I would reroute my intestines/stomach. I was offered bypass at a young age and said hell no even when lapband wasn't around. lol

now down to the real questions
Froggi replied to Idgett's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
All I can say is just post a thread like you did asking, not many people even talk about diverticulitis, but I have seen a lot of people talking about hernias. I am sure you will get plenty of answers on this thread. Good luck. -

Froggi replied to Idgett's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I dunno about the hernia but I have diverticulitis myself I was diagnosed with it at 16. I was told it shouldnt affect surgery at all and not to worry about it. I hope you get some answers and good luck. -
Your ticker doesn't work. Make sure you copy and paste the whole code you get that starts with

Getting banded on June 27 - are my expectations realistic?
Froggi replied to gigem's topic in The Guys’ Room
lol I am not a man no, but It was my idea for the girls to have a forum for just them to talk in and guys come in there and talk already, so I don't think it should matter if girls are coming in here and guys are coming in there. -
I don't know if anyone else on here does Walk away the pounds by Leslie Sansone. But I love it! I have the 1 mile walk, 2 mile walk, and I am planning to get 3 and 4. I love the stretchy band and how she cordinates upper body with walking and not just walking. Kicking, lifting your knees. It's actually a wonderfully awesome healthy workout. Anyone else do these videos?:confused2:

It's walking in place i'd say in like a 2 to 3 foot section. It's really nice and you definetly burn a lot of calories and feel energized after. I love these videos.
