  12. How about just telling him your concerns by saying I feel something is not right. Ask him if there is any testing that can be done to check your stomach, "swallow test", and ask if you could see your chart, stating I have to figure this out. By using"I" in your conversation you are not pointing a finger until you have all of your information. Hope this helps. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App

    Having a hard time today

You are not alone. I'm 7 weeks post op and an emotional eater. I just went to bed so I don't have to do damage control tomorrow. I'm watching TV and drinking my Water. It is better when I stay away from the main part of the house when I feel this way. I got on here for some encouragement and Walla there you are! Ty. Can you do something to get your mind off of the food? I took a walk but it didn't help much, so that is why I went to my room away from temptation. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App

  19. April 25th here! My pains are lower like where the staples are and they come in spasms. Usually when my stomach is empty. IE: morning, and late at night. Can't wait for this phase of the journey to be done. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App

    Hard to walk

I'm one week post-op and only walk about 20 minutes a day. I get tired so fast. But at least I'm doing something, right? I do break it up. I get all my Protein and Water in. I'm hoping when I'm allowed to start my Vitamins I will regain my energy. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App

55 and sleeved 3 days ago.

Hello, I had my Sleeve done April 25th, and reading as much about everything will help. I didn't tell anyone except my husband because I didn't want the opinion of my children and family. It is enough with my own fears and excitement going thru my head. The forum has really helped as my support group. I'm 53. It is a life changer, but so far no regrets. Couple of things I found out after post-op was the hormones releasing as you lose weight and constipation. I got a little depressed. Mostly because I'm healing and a little run down, but I wanted to be back to my normal energetic self. All things in due time. Ask your surgeon what you can take for the constipation and get it pre-op, one last thing to worry about. Good luck. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App

    I found my cheekbones! Pics

It's like "BAM". There it is! Lol. I used to walk past mirrors and store fronts and not know who the reflection was because my face was so distorted. I'm sure many of you have had that horrid experience where you don't recognize yourself. And with this blessing of surgery and the tool it gives us, we get to actually "see" ourselves again! Not to mention all of the wonderful things about ourselves that aren't visible!!!So true. I hated mirrors, glass fronts ect. I would see myself and say, who is that? I was still me on the inside, but no one saw that, or maybe just I didn't see me. I went into a cave and only came out if necessary. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App
