What's your eating like?.. I'm 13.5 weeks post op and stalled 3 weeks ago as well. I hate the friggan scales tbh.
I eat a mostly Keto diet and I'm only a few kgs from goal weight although I never had one before I think Ill make one up lol
Increase your fat intake and really look at what carbs your eating they can make a huge difference.
You want to tap into your fat stores and use that as an energy source and not inflate your insulin.
Walk and weights u don't need to any full on bloody cardio as u will stress your body and make cortisol.
Christ honestly who knows I feel like I'm a bloody expert and still I'm stuck as well lol

neckless_que got a reaction from WhtWdUGive620 in Thinking About Gastric Sleeve Surgery
First of all, every person's body is different. I haven't experienced vomiting or gerd issues. I received the sleeve on 8/8/16. I'm 44 yrs old and weighed 365 lbs on the day of surgery. I went back for my one week visit and I was 350 lbs. At my one month visit I tipped the scale at 335 lbs. As of last week in 295 lbs. -

8/8 for me too, Dr Darius Ameri in Winchester, MA.
I saw him for the first time in October and hoped to have surgery by January, but I went through some really stressful stuff a few months back (chaos surrounding purchasing a fixer upper with a lot of unexpected setbacks, family health issues, unexpected layoff and settling into a new job, etc.) and needed to put the surgery prep on hold to take care of myself. I regret that it took me so long to finish all my pre-op appointments because I was approved less than a week after I completed my paperwork! I could've been 6 months out by now.
Oh well - here we go! Onward and upward.

neckless_que reacted to pewpewpewpew in Exercise?! When can we..
I was told at 4 weeks I could do light exercise and then ramp it up as my body sees fit. I just want these darn incisions to heal so I can hope back into the pool!
I am only 5 days post op..sooooooo a ways to go.
