It took almost 2 weeks for me. I called almost every day and that's how I found out it was approved. They also send a letter and notify the doctor office. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I would not take the chance. Give it a few weeks. My dog was leashed in the backyard when she needed to go out for a couple weeks. Now that I am 4 weeks out I love walking her.
