Hey all, Happy to see so many new faces on the thread, I have not been here in a long time. For those of you not telling anyone, people who know you will notice that you have done something, they will pry it out of you, and yes you will get those people who say oh you cheated, and what I tell those people is no, I finally did something about it. This was not an easy decision for me, and it took me a lot of work to do this. Some people have to live in the closet because of there families and jobs. Don't make your self more miserable by trying to hide one more thing. Ok, for a nsv I love to body board in the ocean, but last year I could not because of my weight loss I am always too cold, in fact I always cold no fat on these bones, if it is 110 out side it is comfortable for me, any way I went to a dive shop and was able to get in to a women's 9-10 wet suit. I was so jazzed, my wife said she did think she wanted me to go to the beach. She is so sweet. lol Ok, I will stop rambling, best of luck to all of you, I will try to log on more often and check out the thread.

oh my goodness, I did not realize I have not been here for a while but then again I have not been any where on this board. Trying to get use to the new board, Not sure if I like it. Anyway welcome newbies, hope everyone is doing well. I am having a problems with the new body image, because my inner thighs and upper arms have some baggie skin that I really don't want to show off, and finding summer cloths are stressing me out. I think I will try a one week pass at a gym near work to see if the work outs they offer will help me tone up. Ok stop rambling Dee

Really do your home work, I had mine done in Mx, and have been very lucky, I live 2 hrs away, so I am able to go and get my fills really easy, also my doc office is easy to get a hold of, via phone or email. Good Luck

I have had mine 2.5 years, love it. Reached my goal weight I will flex about 5 lbs either way, when I gain it is because I am eating junk, once I get off the junk I go back to my goal. I would do again in a heart beat.

Hey gang, been gone on spring break. Went to Zion N.P. had a wonderful time. Climbe Angles Landing which is about 1 mile up, it took us 2.5 hrs to do it. and we went hors back riding, I would have not been able to do either one of the things two years ago. Hope everyone is doing well, take care

Welcome everyone Hey Julie you are looking awesome girl, Keep up the good work. I have not been checking in like I normally do, just been busy and nothing had been going on here. I did have to have two cc removed from my band was way to tight again, I went under my goal weight by 10 lbs I was looking really bad, Sandy was really worried about me, so to the doc's we went and he removed the two I was just going to have one but he wanted to take the two, I said that I would be back if I was getting over my goal weight. It has been a month and I have stayed right on target. We have been doing Water aerobics so that has been helping. We are getting ready for a Spring break taking a week off going to Zion National park. I am so excited, we leave Friday. Ok well I have board you all long enough, Have a great week.

Hey Sadie congratulations to the both of you. Me and my sweetie was both banded on the same day. It has really worked out well for us, well most of the time. I had a lot more weight to lose then she did. She lost most of hers really fast within the 1st year, me I was really slow, she stopped losing and then I started losing really fast after the 1st year. So there has been those moments of jealousy between us about each others weight lose. I reached my goal this January, and went under an additional 10lbs. She now wants to lose an additional 20 lbs. too get to her goal, I don't blame her. I want her to reach her goal. When she reaches her goal we will have about a 10 lbs difference between us. My band got to tight due to stress I had to have 2 cc removed two weeks ago, this was the second time that I had to have Fluid removed. The 1st time I had only 1/2 cc removed about 8 mos ago. So I should not be losing any more, I hope just to maintain my self. It has been wonderful to be able to eat again. By the way we will be celebrating our 16 yrs together this fall and there is 17 years ages difference between us. I wish you the best of luck if you have any question just give me a shout. Hi Skinnybones, I had the same thing happen back in July, I got stressed out with work, I was able to keep liquids down but food was something whole different story I had a 1/2 cc taken out back in July. I am currently doing the same thing again and have an appointment at the end of the week to have another unfill done. I am taking OTC acid reducer to sleep at night. The have reached my goal weight and have lost additional 10lbs, so I will have a few lbs to play with when I have the unfill done. I am not sure how much he will take out. Btw- Happy B-day. Good luck
