Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgendered Bandsters

Oh my goodness, this post was at the bottom of the page, can't have that. Just checking in, flying to Chicago tomorrow which I am looking forward too, in the past I always dreaded going because I knew I was spilling into someone else seat. I know I will not be because a few weeks ago I went to Six Flags and was able to ride all of the roller coasters. I was so excited, was so dizzy by the time I got off of them. Ok, well enough of me, you all take care, and don't let this post sink to the bottom. -
I was stressed for 6 months lost most of my weight then but I was so tight that I could not get any thing down and was not doing well at all, had a 1/2 cc removed what a difference that made. now I wish I had that 1/2 cc back. lol
-
I tell, I have had several people ask me If I am OK? or ask me if I have been sick. I would tell them I am ok, the weight loss is self inflicted, then they give me that real funny look, like what are you talking about. Then tell them about the band.
-
Sometimes that will happen to me, when I get a piece down and I did not chew it as well as I should have. I have had things come back up from the night before. Skins from anything will back me up, so I am really careful with skins. Good luck.

If you are flying you need the passport, if you are on foot or car drivers license will work, but not for long. Google it like some else mention. Good luck

Who Has Lost Over 100 Pounds?!?!
dezbus1 replied to Rockin' Robyn's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Yeah, after 22 months , I am now in the 100lbs be gone club. Only 14 lbs more to go to be at goal. I am glade that mine went slower then others. I think I may have had more head problems if they went to fast. I have been able to adjust as time went by. -
Thanks for the laugh Juli, I needed that.

I am a Director of Transportation for a small school district. Basically I manage the school bus drivers, and maintenance personnel. I have to deal with parents of students that don't know how to behave themselves on the bus.

Good morning all, have not posted for a couple of weeks, not much going on, just the same o same o, welcome to the bandland Dana a Caresa, things will get easier as time go by. I have been banded for 22 mos. and just now have lost 100 lbs. Yeah.:whoo: You have to remember that it is a tool that you need to learn to work with. Michinger, sorry about the insurance, that really sucks. Hang in there. Alright everyone, have a good week. -
I found that if I eat a few about 5 or 6 of them I do ok, If I try more then that the skins will come back on me, so I eat a few then maybe an hr or so later I will try a few more.

Have to share with you all a NSV, I went and tried new clothes today, get this a SIZE 14, I have not been a 14 ever, at least I don't remember ever being a 14, I think I skipped right over it. OK and when it comes to partners ladies I am sorry to tell you that I have the Diamond, we will be celebrating 15 years, going to spend the day at Catalina Island. We both have never been there so we thought we would go and check it out. Hope every one is having a great weekend. -
Mexico...here I come!!!!! (I think!!)
dezbus1 replied to BlueEyedKitty's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I went to Mexico, T.J. My doc and his staff was more professional then any doc I have ever had here in the states. They took really good care of me, I was allergic to the anesthesia did not know this at the time so when I came out of it I was so sick, they would not let me go until I was done being sick. There was a bit of a language barrier with the nurses but they took good care of me. I would do it again. -

HEY, neighbor yes we are pretty close, I worked one summer in P.S. that was more then enough for me. I do come in to your area when I am out training people who say they have never been. It gives me a good 5 hour day, only because I take the long way around. I may come down in November for the festival, have not been to that one yet. Take care, have a good week. -

Ok can I share? Thanks. lol. I had caught my self talking about my weight loss a lot so much that I know I was boring people, so now I have stopped. But not my friends, they keep calling me skinny, which I am not, (this is an issue that I am still trying to comes to term with, the word skinny, never been that), And then they ask how much more do you want to lose? So am I skinny or am I fat? It is almost every day, when I have made a conscious effort to stop they continue on. Any one else having issues like this?

Mine did the same thing, I am wearing it on my middle finger, I am going to wait until I have lost all that I want, about 20 lbs more. I have several other rings that need to be re sized. Good luck on your decision

I had that who is that moment last weekend, we went to a baseball game and realized that I was not hanging out the seat, then went to the movies and went to the restroom and there was this strange women staring at me in the mirror, it was me, I was wow, that is me. then it really hit me yesterday, I seen a picture that was taken 3 years ago, at my heaviest 272, I am now 164. I want to drop another 20 lbs, my bmi will then be right about 24. Went to the store yesterday wanted a new blouse, where did I go? yep the plus size, some habits are harder to break. lol Anyway, I was happy to see this thread, I have been lurking around, I even found a used copy of the book Passing for Thin, about half way through it. Who knew that losing weight would cause other problems, not so much health but emotional, relationships and other untold stories.
