Welcome Penney and Birder, I have had my band for over two years and have not had any of the problems that you mentioned, I did have my band tighten up on me because of stress, I just had a .5 cc removed and everything was OK, My partner of 15 yrs and I was both banded on the same day and we both have been fine. Be nice to your band, do what the doc's tell you to do, and you will find that your band will be nice to you. Please keep us posted on your progress. Keep it Safe

I had stress so bad for so long that I had to have a 1/2 cc taken out just so that I could get food down. I am handling the stress much better, I still have days when I will pb or slime when I am having really bad day. I am learning that on those days to take it really easy with my food. Good luck.

Remodel your kitchen during the holidays, and have a stressful job, that will tighten you right up, I recommended that everyone give it a try. NOT. Hey Juli, I have had the same thing happen, I run the transportation dept for my schools. So I really am not around the students on a daily basis, there are times I do have to go out and driver or I will be out a school site, I will have students stop and look at me and ask what happen? I had one kid sitting behind me, just kept looking at me and I asked what is wrong? He said you look like one of the old bus drivers, I had to laugh and I called his name out, and said oh my god it is you. I took that as a compliment. It is just way too cool when a student does say something that is a positive.

I will drink carbonated drink if I need to relieve some pressure like gas, then it is very small amount. I have not had a soda or coke depending on part of the country you are from for two years. Beer, well I just wast it, so I don't even open one up anymore, Wine 1 glass puts me under the table and the 2nd glass puts me on top of the table, and the 3 you don't want to know.

:clap2:Way to go Juli, It took me a 1 1/2 years to see mine, I have only 5 more lbs to be at goal. No big hurry here. Sandy my partner of 15 years keeps telling me no more, she says I am like a whole new women. lol. I go the 1st of the year to get braces, so I will have a new smile in a couple of years to go with the new body. lol. I am going to commit to an exercise program of some kind to see if I can get the extra skin to draw up before I go and do a tummy tuck. There is still a few lbs of fat left in the middle section, if you know what I mean. Well ok, enough of that. Be safe everyone.

LOL, this is so funny because this is what I am have been going through for the last 4 or 5 months, I have a target on my back. I have a crew of 12, 10 women and 2 men. About 6 of them went running to there union pres. last week at a meeting and the story is that 3 of them aired there dirty laundry, 1 has a valid complaint and we are in the mist of correcting that, the other 2 was just plain stupidity on there part. My office door turned into a revolving door the next morning after the meeting. I thought it was really funny because everyone approached me that was there, except the two, telling me what had happened, there was several that was upset about what the two had said because they knew that what they was saying was not true. I never once asked anyone what happened at the meeting, I could care less about what goes on there, but they let me know. It has been funny because 1 is walking around like her crap don't stink, and she had been avoiding me for the last two weeks. She is acting like I got something on you, and you are going to get it. The other 1 has a guilty trip going on, I walked by her the day after the meeting deep in thought, and I looked at her, not even realizing she was there and she goes why are you looking at me like that. Oppps sorry did not know you was there. Anyway, after my office door stopped spinning I called there union rep and told her I want a mediation meeting ASAP, I am not going on winter break with this crap hanging all over everyone. I think I shocked her, she was like ohhhhhhhh ok. If these women really think that can go over there a spill there guts with out me finding out about it they are stupid, and if they really think I am going someplace else they are really stupid. I did not go looking for this job, this job came looking for me. Anyway, thanks for giving me a place to vent also, it is always nice to know that there are other women out there having too fight multiply battles everyday. Weight and Work. lol

Bumping us up again, we was at the bottom of the page again, where is everyone? Hope everyone is ok. Back at work, this stinks after having 5 days off, kind of hard getting back into the swing of things, but glade to be back I worked to hard at home, I needed the rest. lol Our kitchen is being remolded and I needed to move electrical lines around and add lines, I hate crawling around the attic with all of the insulation up there, It would not be so bad if it was just the roll out kind but no it is the stuff that was blown in, gets all over the place. Ok, well hope to see someone sign on soon.

Mine went pretty well, I cooked a turkey and kept a close eye on it so it did not dry out, it was good. I had a few bites and green beans that was about it for me. Later had a sliver of pie minus the crust. I got on the scale this morning and was surprised that I was down 3 lbs. I am about 6 lbs away from my goal. Yeah. Hope everyone else had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I go with the dark meat rather then white, a little too dry for me, plus my veggies, then I will do a very small sliver of pie usually with out the crust.

What about locking in a thread in the pre op and post op sections that would answer what we think are redundant questions? The pb's and slime. The everything you need to know section? I know these question get boring and they have been answered a thousand times but people will not dig through pages and pages to look for answers to there questions. I know a few months ago, I need some help on something I did not post because I knew someone else had to go through what I was going through. I dug and dug until I found it and it was a pain. Anyway just my 2 cents.

And then like you work sucks, I blew up at a few employees the other day so they are all pissed off at me, oh well if you don't like it leave. What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving? I am cooking for the family here at the house, I love to cook, so I enjoy doing it. We normally go out to the open desert and camp out but that is not going to happen this year, maybe I will get a day to go out and ride for a day.:cry Ok enough crap about me. Damm, I missed it. Sorry, I fell down on the job. lol. Did you ever get Sean's Birthday dinner or was it all dried out and cold. I know how you feel about having your own business, Sandy is a Realtor, I help her out a lot I have my license but someone needs to have a steady pay check. When times where really good, her phone would not stop ringing, thank god it still rings but not at all of the hours of the day. The weekends are the worst, we could have plans for a movie or dinner and they will interrupted by someone wanting something. "Family" are user and abusers. They always want something for free, or we will invest a lot of time with them, or even money and then they will pull out of the contract. We had that happen twice in the last year. I am almost to the point where if another lesbian couple want us to sell there home I am going to tell them to go knock on someone else door. WOW, sorry I did not mean to vent like that. Don't know where that came from.

Oh my goodness, I am so happy to see some ass kicking going on here, I am almost at 2 yrs with the band and at the beginning of the this year did I just start losing the most of my weight, I have 14lbs to go to be at goal, if I reach it great if not oh well. It is what it is. Pamela I hate it when I go for an oil change and come home with a new car. Congratulations. Glade to hear that you had a great weekend. The trip to Chicago was great, was so glad to be back in my own bed. The plane ride was great, most of the trip we had an empty seat between us so that was awesome and I was able to curl up in a ball. That was something new. lol Well everyone have a great week.
