    Feeling Judged

Maybe she is concerned and wants to see how your progress is before she tries to reach out and get help herself if she is not already doing so. There are going to be people out there who will always have their two cents to put in. Keep calm and keep it moving. The more you progress the more she will be putting her foot in her mouth. Great job by the way, I may never meet you or get to know you, but I am sooo glad you went on this journey! Congrats. jdubbs

I'm a week post op and I cannot eat. I literally eat yogurt and I'm done for the day, how do you get your Protein in? I can drink Water all day long. But the Protein powder makes me gag and that makes my stomach hurt. jdubbs

I completely understand. The day of the surgery I almost didn't go haha but I am glad I did. Don't fret over it. It will be fine. Sent from my 0PM92 using the BariatricPal App

Yes, please keep me posted and ask any questions you may have. I will do my best to answer them. Also, make a question list you have for the nurse. Dietitian, or surgeon you will be meeting with, it's their job to make you feel comfortable! Sent from my 0PM92 using the BariatricPal App

Hey, Had my surgery may 18th. It's been five days and I am doing just fine. (upstate New York area - Albany) The few hours after surgery when I woke up, I had a lot of pain only because of the gas and nausea. The morphine that they give you, if you do receive morphine, makes you want to throw up everywhere. But honestly, once that 12-24 hour mark hits, you're fine. I had the JP drain and it's the only annoying thing that is going to bother you during your post op recovery, no pain, no nausea. A little gassy from surgery still but it is totally fine. (drain is going to be taken out Thursday, the 26th {8 days after surgery}) Anyways, good luck and if anyone has any random questions, feel free to ask. Sent from my 0PM92 using the BariatricPal App
