I keep getting responses about a cookbook. The easiest way for us to share our recipes is not to read through an entire blog to find one interesting, but to use an online database. I have created one you can just enter your recipes and everyone can access them at Zoho Creator - Online Database Application. It would be great if we could get a link on this blog to the online database and everyone could contribute at no cost.

I have mentioned an online cookbook that is capable of pictures and more, but many of you haven't caught on how we can do it. Just go to the following site and enter your recipe in the online form: Zoho Creator - Online Database Application. When we get a few recipes in there just look to the left and click on Recipes View and you will be able to check out the recipes we have all put there. Eventually we can set-up a searching capability. :wink2:

I had my first fill two days ago and I thought he was going to kill me. He couldn't find the port and tried for about 45 minutes (no exaggeration). Then he left and brought in an ultrasound machine and tried for about 20 minutes more. I finally told him I couldn't take it anymore and he sent me to get an x-ray and have them make a mark where the port is located. He was about two inches off the mark. By then I was terrified and he said he would hit it right off, but still couldn't get it. He spent about 20 minutes and I finally said, "Enough is enough." I left with him thinking he got it. I am not sure I will dare try it again. I have bruising all over my stomach about the size of a softball. You can see at least twenty different sites he has made to mince meat. My brother is a doctor and was appalled. Does anyone know a good doctor in the Salt Lake City area?

Hello Fellow Lap Banders, I have been going through recipes on this site, but sometimes it is hard to find anything for all the comments in between. I am not saying I don't enjoy the comments, but sometimes it would be good to go straight to your recipes. Soooooooo, I have created an online database where we can share our recipes and see each others recipes. It is still in the infancy stage, but feel free to go to the following address and enter any recipes you would like. This is a good idea and if one person would put them together they can be uploaded to a site like Lulu.com - Self Publishing - Free and turned into a book. The advantage of doing it through an online service like LuLu is each of us could go there and buy our own book from LuLu. We would not have to fork out any money up front.

I just had lap band surgery and I am wondering if protein water is okay even though it has sugar in it.
