I'm 4 weeks post op and I still can't get my Protein or fluids is I had a spot yesterday with my nutrition dr and he said it will get better with time but I have started to challenge myself today and setting goals it is helping plus I found a new Protein shake that is a lot better getting down and taste really good don't worry to much it gets better with time good luck!!!! This is the best Protein shakes I have ever tried !!!! Being 4weeks post op I have not been able to drink any of them due to the fact they make me sick . But I tried this one and it taste so good almost like strawberry milk and they don't make me sick if your looking for a good one that taste good you should definitely give this one a try!!! Well today was my surgery so far I have been in a lot of pain I can't tell if I'm hungry or not but I have been doing good with sipping allday I just wish the gas pain would go away... And when I can finally rest my Dr. Did a in and out pat so I got to come home and didn't have to stay in the hospital so I am walking every hour for 10 mins and then after midnight I'll be able to do every 2 hrs for 10mon and then back to the 1 at 7am so I want be getting any sleep tonight!!!! That is awesome I am still having trouble with getting my fluids and Protein in I think I'll be able to do better when I can starting eating it will be easier for me with the protein right now I can handle shakes I am eating the yogurt but that's about it and of course I'm doing Soup I'm glad your doing so good Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I am doing really good no problems. Pains not bad finally able to get around good now if only I could get enough liquid and Protein in I would be great but the Protein shakes are not agree in with me at all so I'm going to see if I can find the shots and see how they work how are you doing? Gas x strips didn't help me to much the best thing to do is walk and I was o lot able to burp it was a few days later befor it came out the other end and it wasn't bad I ha e made sure I take my pain meds gas x strips like I'm supposed to and walk my dr had me walking every hour for 10 mins and then after mid night it was every 2 hrs it goes away after a few days but walking is the best thing you can do for it Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I am in a lot of pain from the gas it was really bad yesterday I'm filling a lil better today but very tired bc I can't rest jam up every hour on the hour walking for 10 min I have been able to eat just been drinks by Water I don't feel hungry or anything so far I'm happy I did it no regrets yet Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
