I keep seeing these coloring books in the stores. I think I will purchase one. I need to delve back into my arts & crafts post op so that I can have positive hobbies that don't include food. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -

I am particularly interested in this Wednesday's episode as it will document Chay (who now identifies as a woman) and of course Pauline (I am so curious as to what she looks like now). Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -
HELP! Sleeve vs RNY
audaciousmarie replied to cmcgonigal's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I have been really struggling with the sleeve vs rny decision as well. The way you laid it out has put things into perspective for me. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -
Everything is finalized and the nerves are setting in!
audaciousmarie replied to WalkByFaith94's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes I know exactly how you feel. Its best to just stay focused on the end goal (your surgery!). You have come a long way and gotten over many hurdles. The moment you have worked so hard and long for is here. This is your time! Good luck! Can't wait to hear how you are doing. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -

Cool Sculpting - yay? nay?
audaciousmarie replied to CSchulden's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I think its a great alternative if you are scared of a tummy tuck. I don't think it would hurt to try and the recovery time is minimal. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -
Men measuring their manliness against other men's manliness?
audaciousmarie replied to WLSResources/ClothingExch's topic in The Lounge
I thought it was just me. I'm reading the thread wondering if that is really a klan outfit before I react. If it is.. my opinion of this site has definitely changed. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -
Has anyone kept their surgery private
audaciousmarie replied to kitkattulsa's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I plan to keep my surgery a secret (just not interested in other people's opinion who don't know my struggle). Most people are used to me dieting and exercising. Only my mom knows and if I'm ever in a relationship again, I'll let him know. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -
Young Sleevers
audaciousmarie replied to brookebonic's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi there, I am 25 and this is my second go round at wls (I was approved through uhc 3 years ago but didnt go through with the surgery). Like you, I have also been able to lose weight on my own (90 pounds twice) but each time I gain it back. So now I am quite determined to get the surgery this time because I am so tired of losing and gaining. I'm glad to see you have a date:) Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -

Anyone morbidly obese and considering the gastric sleeve?
audaciousmarie replied to Kwilliams03's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes. My bmi is 40.3 and I am considerinf the sleeve. Hopefully I'll get a date for this summer. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -
I completely agree. Its annoying when people think the same things will work for every person. Some people can diet and lose/keep the weight off without surgery and some of us may need medical intervention (like me). I think everyone should just stop judging those that may choose wls because you have no idea what type of struggle that person may be dealing with regarding their weight. My 600 Pound Life: 2016 Season
audaciousmarie replied to Inner Surfer Girl's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I think he meant "agressive bypass" for someone Marla's size and health (the woman had refused to walk for almost two years). The constant immobility alone would make any wls done her agressive. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
