Does anyone's goal weight still leave them "overweight" or "obese"?
audaciousmarie replied to provenzee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes. And thats what is making me wonder if the sleeve is best option for me because my doc says I might still be in the 200s. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App You might grow a trunk and a monkey tail, too. Ya' never know. Lmao...i like your perspective. It really just makes me want to roll the dice even more and just say "Que sera sera". Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App I prefer this: I love this and its so true. Thanks! Low BMI Gastric Sleeve story

Good for you. I am glad you are being proactiv. I get so annoyed when people say things like "You are not that big, why are you getting surgery?". In my mind I'm thinking "I have the fat gene and I may not look that big to you now but I know where my weight can go and I want to get ahold of this before I get to 3-400 pounds and cant get out of bed". Ok end of rant lol. Congrats!!! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -
Safeway carries apple slices that are 30 calories a bag and 7 grams of carbs. That may be a nice alternative to a full size apple and apple slices go great with PB2. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App

3 months post op - little weight loss and digestion issues -help!
audaciousmarie replied to JessM321's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I know you may not want to hear this but....losing 30 pounds in 3.5 months is better than gaining 30 pounds in 3.5 months. You are doing much better than you think and you should be very proud of yourself. I know this journey is a difficult one but I believe in the end it will be worth it. Good luck and please keep us posted. Sent from my SM-T800 using the BariatricPal App -

My 600 Pound Life: 2016 Season
audaciousmarie replied to Inner Surfer Girl's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I too hope Lola does get to her goal weight before going for gender reassignment. I think Pauline has made great progress even though Dr. Now expects a faster rate of progress with all of his patients. I noticed that with Marla as well. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App -
