I can tell you are a smart person, and could honestly debate the critical issues of this election. But for some reason, you won't. You fall back on the same old McCain = Bush arguement that is intellectually dishonest. The way to recruit independant voters is to tell us what Obama will bring to the table. In what way are his policies superior to McCains? Don't spout emotional rubbish. Most voters are smarter than that.

Yeah, I'm curious. Seems like there's racial strife worldwide. I was talking with some relatives from Australia, and they made some derogatory comments about the Aboriginal peoples there. I was kinda shocked.

In other words, what Obama's camp did to McCain. Has McCain ever said he supports overturning Roe v. Wade? Even now, when he needs to appeal to the more conservative of the party? Nope. He's never said that. I'd prefer it if you stuck to some facts, BJean, instead of regurgitating some liberal talking points. I wonder how you'll feel when Obama moves more towards the center as the campaign approaches? Will you continue to support the man, or will you dismiss him as Obama-zero (as the Huffington post just did)?

RSG, it sounds to me like she is hyper-critical of herself. Just because she finds fault with something on herself doesn't mean she sees the same thing on you....I am way more demanding and critical of myself than any of my friends or family...maybe she's the same? I'm not bragging (well, maybe a little), but I've never had trouble getting girls. I've always been built big (muscle covered with chubby) and I'm certainly not handsome....but what I have always had is personality. I have dated several women where I've overheard "why is she dating him". I laughed it off, but it was hurtful a little bit. My point is, people like what they like. I don't think it's totally fair for you to ascribe motive as to why your friend likes big guys. Maybe she likes what she likes. Until she does something ugly, I'd give my friend the benefit of the doubt.
