Hey congradulation on the AM banding. Let us know how it goes! As for the sex drive, I'd never experienced any reduction. Of course, I'm an old married dude, so my situation may not be applicable. -
Well there you go.....no complaints = no complaints, right?
-
No...You are sick. SickNTired. You have to read that in a Sean Connery voice to be effective.

Leslie, Leslie, Leslie......*sadly shakes head*

Mac, me too. That's the last time I let a stranger buy me a drink. On the plus side, I might now be a movie star in certain cinematic circles.

That might actually be true-ish. There was a study done on prostate health and regular masturbation. My wife always says the first 10 minutes are the best (for her), and if the orgasm doesn't happen within that time, it's probably not gonna happen. Of course, she's never been a marathon type o' gal.

Admittedly, as somewhat of a conservative, I may be missing some crucial nuance, but I think Obama just made a bonehead mistake. Biden may be even MORE liberal than Obama....I think he needed somebody to play off his weaknesses, not reinforce what strengths / weaknesses he already has. I think the majority of the American people have negative connotations associated with those politicians labeled "liberals", and if Obama REALLY wanted to sweep the election, he'd have chosen Hilly. I look for McCain to pick a fairly conservative VP for the above reasons. Of course, I was totally wrong about the Obama veep pick, so....

I'll see your snort and raise you a bemused chuckle...

And here I thought I was the thread killer (I just noticed a lot of non-active threads have me as the last poster. Kinda like I speak and the crowd drifts away).

Agree 1 million percent. Serious powerlifting training is hard, and it's hard on the body as well. IMO, strength training to be fit (as opposed to "massive") is a strategy that can last as long as you draw breath. Also, I re-read the OP, and have to stress this: We only lose weight when we burn more calories than we take in. That's the bottom line, no matter what kind of exercise or training you wish to pursue. Good luck, B-Man.

Wow....You are a saint. If that were me with my elderly dad, the story would have been much, much different. It would go something like this: My Dad: Blah, blah...I'm old and complain-y... Me: *points behind dad* Hey Dad, look at that! Dad: *turns around* What? I don't see anything... Me: <silence> *I've vanished into the crowd*

I'm just gonna go ahead and fess up that my accent is thicker than.....uh.....something really really thick.

Heather, as with anything medical, you should get in the habit of calling your doc's office with anything you think might be a problem. Better safe than sorry, especially this early in the healing process. -
Hey, you might want to let your doc's office know you are dry heaving / nauseaous. At this stage, it's extremely important to let the sutures in your band heal up. Most bandsters (that I personally know) are prescribed anti-nausea meds to prevent this sort of thing. At this stage, better safe than sorry.

No tea?!? You, ma'am, are now required to turn in your southern papers and move north of the Mason-Dixon line.

Those weren't commas...they were fallen apostrophes.
