Hi, I have been discharged from hospital yesterday I have had a small amount of yogurt today with the recommended half orange juice and Water taken my soft Vitamins before surgery I liked my Protein shakes with milk but now they are making me feel sickly has anyone got any advice for these early days I feel I made the right decision having surgery but just am worried that I may start off on the wrong foot now at the beginning Michael. Hi, I am on a Slimfast liquid diet prior to having Gastric Bypass on the 24th May I want to bring to the attention to anyone choosing this liquid diet I have just gone through a bad spell of severe constipation after being on this diet for just over a week I have drunk in excess of the 2 litres of Fluid each day that is required and that has made no difference after looking on line this is very common I do not want anyone else falling in the this same trap and getting what I have had. At one stage I was going in to hospital as I did not know if I had a blockage or twisted bowel so please be warned I now am splitting up the slimfast and taking food in as well and leaving out at least 2 of the 4 slim fast drinks required each day. Hi vwlover, I am also in the UK I start my liquid diet this Sunday talking with my surgeon 2 weeks on this diet is the norm but 3 weeks even better I am going on 4 slim fast shakes a day with skimmed milk I have chosen different flavours to give variety I need to top fluids up to 1 to 2 ltrs total per day I do not know if this would help you at all I hope it does. Hi Everyone, Can anyone throw any light on the Clotting Injections how did you get on with them where they easy to do and I see you have them for the first 7 days did the hospital supply all of them I am especially interested as I am in the UK did any patients get the 7 days worth of Injections? Also how has anyone got on with the Vitamin B12 Injections I see you can buy B12 tablets does this apply to us any advice or story's welcomed Michael.
