This is too much it's 3 weeks post op diet we are talking peeps! Not 3 months. Puréed is the most responsible way to eat at this time. What kind of Nut (literally) would agree with those choices?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Tell me about it!! Lol peeps here are serious about to. They add cheese, mayo, sour cream like nothing happened to their new stomach. I'm in such disbelief that the question is even treated with legit sincerity. It's common sense. Plus they know even before they had surgery what food they should eat and should not eat because they have met with the nutritionist before even getting weight-loss surgery. They know the answer to the question but their brains are hungry for real food and not protein shakes Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi Aivey! Congrats on your baby. Well the band looks like it's more hazardous to your health, most insurances will not hesitate to revise you from band to whatever so if you choose which is most likely the VSG or the RNY. I doubt that you will have to wait a six-month diet prior to surgery. It all depends on your insurance too. I suggest to go ahead and speak to your surgeon and get the ball rolling Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Did you not attend a visit with a nutritionist? Did you sign up for WLS thinking it was a route canal? This is insane. When we decide to go ahead and have WLS, we by this time realize what got us here. Like tacos. Ice cream. Breads. pastas. You should be on liquids 2 weeks in and sometimes longer, then mushies for a 2-3 weeks more. That's when you try solid Proteins, even then it's touch and go. You do know that eating healthy is a change you knew had to happen. Especially after a drastic invasive surgery like ours. You need to seek ur nutritionist out and a psychologist who works with people who have had weight-loss surgery. So I'd say tacos is a negative. 10-4? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Gatorade isn't really good for you rt now, but if u had no choice and HAD to drink Gatorade , There's the ICE Gatorade. If u like the taste Gatorade which a friend of mine did, she bought unflavored Protein and added it. No bad flavor or grimy taste. She did add a stevia with it and lots of cubed ice though Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Thanx! Did you stay longer than the 1 night stay. Did ur reflux ( if u had any) go away? Did you loose any weight? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
No no don't worry! Colds are going around. Have some ginger and lemon tea with a stevia often to vary ur liquid time. Oct 4th is still enough time to get over a pesky cold. No stressing! If u stress it will prolong it . Let me know if you need positive thoughts or reassurance. I'll need them from u some plus 20 days from ur surgery Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

coffee and sugar free flavorings are great, but fruit really isn't a good idea until some time yet. Try the sugar free coffee syrups or PB2 which is a peanut powder with 70% less calories and a punch of Protein. Regular Peanut Butter and fruit are just sugar that have no room in us wls peeps. U really need to do ur research before embarking on such a stressful journey as a wls patient. I have some recipes you might like. Private text and I can attach some recipes. Keep in mind if you start getting comfortable with things like peanut butter and fruit, so will ur new pouch. It might even make you feel not so hot. You will be wondering why you aren't shedding pounds then realize how much carbs and calories you accumulate with one teaspoon of pb in one day of ur 600 calorie diet. I hate to nag but I wish someone did to me to keep me on the straight n narrow wls path Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Even11, You have to try to get ur Protein in, I think you have heard everyone saying to sip, sip ,sip. Even if it takes you 2 hours to sip ur Protein Drink, do so. Gatorade will help only a fraction. Even if you have to Protein drinks that are 30 hr of protein a day, it will make you feel sooooo much better and less hungry. When i went through the liquid period, I was starving at first and it seemed like a full time job just to sip my protein. Crazy but it will be a full time job to healthy. Just try your best. It's not easy but it's very do-able. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
