Yesterday was my two month anniversary since my surgery. I am officially down 55 pounds from my height weight and 40 pounds since my surgery. I am feeling great. I'm still learning how to eat differently but am doing much better at it. How is everyone else doing after two months. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Well I am one month out from surgery and I feel great. I am down from 322 pounds before I started the pre-op diet, to 277. I started eating regular textured food today which is really nice. I find it hard to believe that I can't even eat a half a chicken breast before getting full. I'm not complaining but I used to eat a whole chicken breast a large portion of brown rice with it, and would wash it down with a couple beers and still not feel totally full. This is the best thing that I have ever done in my life. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I was sleeved on May 12th. I am not very good at keeping track of what I have been eating and drinking but I feel on track. I typically have 2-3 premier Protein shakes a day. I drink about 2-3 bottles of Water a day, and also a couple bottles of Gatorade per day. I honestly do not have a hard time with any of it I just have to drink them slower that I normally would. I feel like I could move on to normal food because I have had no setbacks but I won't do that because I know I am not ready for that. I have lost 16 pounds since the day of my surgery and 31 pounds since I started the pre-op liquid diet.

I am on day seven of the two week liquid diet and it is hell. I am starving a getting crabby with people. To be honest I have cheated a couple times and I really don't care. I am loosing weight and I don't think having a couple pieces of cheese one day and a piece of pizza the next is a big deal. Has anyone else had this problem with the diet?

Well tomorrow is the day for my surgery. I have very mixed emotions right now. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I feel like I want it to happen, and I feel like what the hell am I going to be doing to myself. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I accept your apology and thank you for the encouragement. I wish you all the luck in your journey also. I understand the getting in the mind set for after surgery but here is my issue with that also. From everything I have read you can still eat whatever you want after surgery in moderation so this whole argument about getting ready for after surgery to me is BS. I do plan on being very successful after my surgery, but I also know that we have to live a little. I did mention my trouble to the surgeon and he said that I would be fine. Jackh please except my apology for snapping at you. I am one week out from my surgery and I am ready to be successful the rest of they way. Again good luck to you. Hey 165B445 You have know idea what some people's struggles are. I know all about taking it one day at a time, so before you spout your mouth off you should try and find out what people's problems are. I get low blood sugar and if I don't eat I get very faint and will throw up so maybe you should just keep your mouth shut. I am doing the best I can and think I am doing s pretty damn good job. I think two weeks is also extreme. I was never told they wouldn't do the surgery they just said a two week liquid diet. I get confused when some people's Doctor only has them do three days, some a week, and others two weeks. It really does suck. I just keep thinking of the good that will come from all of this when it is over. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Congrats on your surgery date. Be happy that you only have to do a week of no eating, my surgeon is making me do two weeks. I am on day two and am dying of hunger. I will second the Premier Protein, that is what I am using and it does help for awhile. I also get all of my Vitamins on Amazon. Good luck to you, you will do great. -
Thank you. I am three weeks out from having mine done and I am starting to get nervous. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I had my pre-op class yesterday and now I am super nervous. I feel like I'm going to mess up the diet, or take the wrong kind of medication or something like that. Did anyone else feel like that after the class? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
