    A vain NSV story.

I kinda feel a little bad for Shelby lol but she deserved to be put in her place! I love the irony of this story. Keep it up and keep her negative vibes away from your success! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Help--gallbladder pain

I didn't mean to skip over your question! What I ate for the whole month of my gallbladder saga was mainly Soups. I had hot chicken Soup and tomato soup which actually made me feel better. I also had light hot air popcorn that I was able to eat but that's pretty much it. Again feel better and good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Help--gallbladder pain

I think I hit my goal weight faster because of my gallbladder, I didn't eat for a month until I finally went back to my surgeon and he told me I needed it removed immediately. But the appetite definitely does come back after it's removed and pain subsides. I'm so happy I had mine removed. That was rough. Best of luck to you, I definitely know what you're going through Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. Hey guys.. I'm so happy with my weight loss about 65 lbs in 4 months. However, I had to have my gallbladder removed due to stones from rapid weight loss and now almost 2 weeks after GB surgery, i have continual pain in my lower abdomen and doc may think it's appendicitis. I was wondering if anyone else have had these surgeries one after the other. I didn't even think they were linked but I guess they're both prone to occur after a lot of weight loss. Do I tell or say nothing.

I didn't tell anyone except for a really close friend whose husband went through it. I lied and told people I had my gallbladder removed which ended up happening a few months later lol! Anyway I didn't want to tell people because people just don't understand especially in my close knit community. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. I couldn't eat meat for months after. I'm not 6 months post op and still not into it as much as I was before I used to love chicken now can't look at it. I told my surgeon he said it's totally common for the first months to have a problem with meat especially because it's very heavy on the new stomach. I learned to love fish been having salmon all the time lately Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Gallstones

Yes. 2 months after my sleeve I woke up in the middle of the night with extreme sharp pain right under rib cage on the right side. The next day it felt a little better but only when I was lying down in fetal position or doubled over. I finally went to the hospital and found gallstones as well and had it removed the following day. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. Anyone else have days where you can't eat anything at all? And on the flip side days where you're always hungry? I find myself having a lot of non eating days where any food I look at makes me nauseous Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    First Consultation

At my consultation I was so into just getting the surgery and changing my life I didn't even ask any questions. I went in thinking I was getting a lap-band and left with paperwork for the sleeve. I didn't even ask one question about anything which I definitely regret. I was so focused on losing weight i didn't really think about the fact that I was having most of my stomach removed! Make sure you ask everything you want to know. I found that I had way more questions post op rather than pre. don't rush everything will work out! Getting on zofran - 11 weeks post op

Well I had my GB removed 2 months ago which set me back in terms of nausea. After my sleeve I was okay but after GB I got crazy chronic nausea and now I'm like basically addicted to zofran so it's tough. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Getting on zofran - 11 weeks post op

I was constantly nauseous and nothing was helping at one of my follow ups I asked for zofran and have been taking it non stop ever since. I take it like 3 times a day because it really helps and because I'm ALWAYS nauseous. My primary doc was not happy about the amount of zofran I was taking so she prescribed levsin to take before meals and that helps a lot too if you wanna ask your surgeon for that as well.
