    Hi everyone!

I am having the same situation happen to me right now as well. I have been stalled at 203 for the past 3 wks and have only lost a total loss of 27lbs since surgery 3 months ago. I am trying to be consistent with gym taking my vitamins and drinking more water. I have also seen a lot of sleevers who followed a kelo diet and am trying that as well. We can do this. I refuse to let this fail!
  2. Okay so I am glad I decided to post this! I have been down for the past 2 months. I have been currently stuck at 203.0 and 204.4lbs the past 3 weeks ( I just really want to hit onderland!). I only lost 4lbs in the month of January. I have been in a stall for the past 3 weeks and of course every doubt runs through your mind during a stall, like has it stopped working, is this all I am going to lose, did I fail vsg? Everyone around me says I am losing weight but I don't feel it. I decided to put pictures together side by side to really see for myself if I am losing and I am. I am happy with what I see! Can't wait to see what I look like in another 3 months from now. Here are my stats: HW:242 SW:231 day of surgery CW: 204.4 GW: 150 Here are some pics! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I was sleeved 11/3 starting weight 231 the day of surgery. Currently 204.4lbs. Only lost 4 lbs this month been in a stall for the past 2 weeks. Total of 26.6lbs since the day of surgery. I am a very slow loser.... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. To all the 100lb losers or more I am just curious to how your weight loss daily regimen was at the beginning of your journey till now. I know I see alot of people working out 5 to 6 times a week. Did everyone start working out that much or as the weight came off were you able to add more work out days to your week, also the diet. How strict were you guys at the beginning of your journey (since surgery day). I am struggling with my diet, I still crave all the bad food, I have a hard time eating it but I still crave it creating me to be discouraged because I do buy it and take a bite or two(something I am still working on). I am hoping this is something I will eventually overcome. I am still getting used to things I can and can not eat. I feel like my stomach can not tolerate too much and still experimenting with food. 5. I am officially 8 weeks out! Though I'm losing weight slower than most I am still losing. I have hit a stall within the past two weeks. To be honest I do look at fellow sleeved patients and there progress and I do get somewhat depressed because I am losing so slow. Still better regrets, I see my weight going down vs going up like usual which is a relief. I plan on now starting a good workout regimen and hope that helps. Here my stats with pictures: HW:242 SW: 231 (day of surgery) CW: 208 Day after surgery As of today! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I just want to see what some of the numbers are of how much Protein everyone is getting in a day? I think my number are off, I know the more the better but how much is everyone getting and is still losing? I can only get 60grams of shakes in and it's really hard to get more grams through the day. Is 60 grams a day bad? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Yes your stomach can stretch even after the sleeve. I am only 2 months out and 20lbs down, I would be ecstatic about 58lbs!! But my stomach can't tolerate a lot right now either and I feel like I am behind as well, but hey I guess some stomachs heal faster than others. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    November Sleevers!

Hey, I was sleeved 11/3 and had a very bad 2 weeks, no energy and ALOT of GERD. Now I am 6 weeks out and doing a lot better. I still have some restriction on my food. I am okay to eat all foods but my stomach can still only take soft and liquids. I lost 10lbs the first week and stalled the next two. Went back to work witch requires me to walk ALOT almost 5 miles a day. The weight has now been slowly dropping off. Down 18 lbs in 6 weeks. Still trying to get all my Proteins in. Still my stomach doesn't tolerate a lot. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. I know skin removal can possibly be covered through your insurance after WLS. Has anybody been able to get a boob job done after WLS and have the insurance pay for it, and if so what did you have to do in order to do it? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I am a few days late but my 1 month post op was on 12/3/16!! I'm not going to say it went by quick because it didn't. I was one of the unlucky persons who was just going through it the first 2 weeks. I have officially lost 15lbs which I am really excited about. My confidence is coming back. I still have one more week of soft food and I am still working on getting enough Protein and Water in a day. I can't say how much I miss being able to gulp! I work in the ER so my average steps in a day are around 16,000-18,000 ranging from 4-6 miles a day. And that's pretty much 4x a week. So no working out either. I do push ups from time to time though. I do feel like I am going at a very slow process but I am happy to be at least 15lb down. I wanted to put up a face to face to help motivate people especially the 1-2day post op sleevers. It gets better. I can't wait to see what I look like at my 2 month Post op! Top is surgery day and bottom is today! STATS: HW: 246 SW:231 CW:215.4 GW:155 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Gaining weight after 2 weeks!

Thank you!! You really broke it down for me. I am staying away from the scale for a while (at least try too) definitely trying to increase my Protein intake. That muchb Fluid in a day has definitely been a struggle for me but will work on it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. So I was advanced to purée food on Thursday. And I know how bad it is to step on the scale everyday, but I have been because i want to see results. Now I have heard of stalls within 2-3 weeks out post op but I haven't heard of weight gain. Within the first week I lost a good 12lbs but within the second week the weight has slowly been creeping back up. A total of 2lb within the 1 1/2 week. I have been going to the gym and lifting slight weights (doctor approved). I would be happy at a stall (staying the same weight) vs. gaining. I know people say you can't compare yourself to the next person but it would be nice to know that someone else went through this and passed through it too. I'm sure you guys must know how scary it can be to step on the scale and see the weight going up after all you just went through. It's scary to think this too might not work for you... 13. I am finally 2 weeks out and through that horrible first week post op! No more GERD, able to have more then two sips of liquids and can handle creamy Soup. Yay! I have already gotten some of the entertainment back and did a light workout at the gym and felt GREAT, felt so glad to get back into it. I go to the doctors tomorrow to get advanced to soft diet! Never thought I would be so happy to be able to eat a scrambled egg lol. Now I wanted to know how your first day transition went from liquids to soft food, I will confess today I did have a few bites of scrambled egg and guacamole.. now it didn't go down as smooth as I thought it would of, I felt like some was stuck in my throat. I also wanted to know some of the things you guys are during your soft food phase to make things interesting. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    2 week liquid diet.

Thank you everyone for answering back, it makes me feel better and hopeful. I think my problem is Protein. On the first couple of days my stomach was not liking any form of protein, wasn't liking anything but tea really. I have been trying to try different Proteins but really haven't been able to get much down. I think I need to start trying to get more protein down. As far as the GERD yes I am on PPI as well as over the counter Zantac. My doc told me to use both to help and yes it has helped for the most part but at night MAN there is no way I am sleeping. I'm woken and forced to sit at a 90 degree angle. I sleep with two or 3 pillows for the incline and it still doesn't help. I've talked to my doctor and they basically said that I am already on a lot of antiacids. So I have been trying to cut back on anything that can cause acid reflex. And on the full liquid stage it really does leave only so much to drink....my doc said that over time it will go away. I'm hoping soon. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. I just want to know everyone else experience during the 2 week full liquid stage. I am 1 week and 1 day post op and I have finally been able to drink more than 2 sips of anything, what a struggle it has been. I crave food all the time, it just came as a shock to me only because I didn't think I would be THIS hungry after the surgery. Not that I would even be able to take more than a bite of something, but boy do I dream about a bite. Besides that, the heartburn, acid reflex, GERD I get has been horrible, it's finally starting to get manageable but geeze. I get released to soft food on Thursday, I am afraid that I won't even be able to have a spoonful of something due to how much pain I am now if I drink something with citrus in it or even an extra sip of something. I am afraid of GERD after. What was everyone's experience like during all the transitions? From liquids to smooth, to solid foods? Was it easy or hard transitioning? Did the GERD go away?
