I can drink a lot water with no choke

Just had surgery on March 31st. My questions is why I can drink Water as I used to be, I have no water chock, I can swallow my chicken broth as normal person with no problem. And I am able to drink more than 2 liter a day. I get hungry all the time, so I keep drink chicken broth all day long. I start drink a lot of water right next day that I had surgery. Because all what I found online said they are having issue drinking water, even just small amount of water. Is this normal? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
