No... an actual back adjustment by a chiropractor.. I think when they did the surgery they must move you in strange ways or something... I swear i was in agony for ages... and it was suggested to me that it might be a nerve thing... i was skeptical (im always the skeptic when it comes to alternative therapies) But literally after i went to the chiropractor.. it never came back

I had the shoulder pain for months after i had my band years ago... i went to a chiropractors for an adjustment and it was relieved immediately afterwards never to return. I would literally get it every time i ate a decent sized meal or if it was cold out.

It could be gas pain.. muscular pain or referred pain. I did get a similar pulling stabbing pain early post op on the left side... and a little lower on the right... basically a few inches away from my cuts... early out i got a few different pains and sensations... but they all resolved by my 2nd-3rd week. If your pain is severe, i would contact your surgeons office.

Hahaha its so annoying... now that its been a few hours since it has happened i have thought of like 50 comebacks to say to him.. dont you just hate that!! Well... to make my day better... a lady that i see on the train home from work actually came up to me and said that i am looking good.. so that made me feel a little better... I know ive only lost a small amount of weight but it shows fairly quickly on me.. so yay me...

Short term PPI are fine.... reflux is worse as it damages your sphincter and if that happens.. food will struggle to stay down your esophagus

Hmmm. Its strange that this far out you guys are getting headaches and insomnia... Are you guys on a multi Vitamin?? I know that high doses of vitamin B6 causes insomnia and nightmares/vivid dreams. If it is over 100mg... try not taking it for a day or two and see what happens. Perhaps try having an egg or some turkey for dinner. tryptophan in turkey/eggs help assist sleep.

Don't get the band!!!!!!!!!! i had the band for 6 years... lost weight.. got to goal and maintained for 5 I had complications during the last year and had it removed after 12 months. Basically, during the 12 months after i got it removed i gained weight.. a lot... i was really eating well.... exercising.. the works.. tried everything .. yet was still gaining weight. I went to see the doctor and they said i had reset my resting metabolic rate to quite low...from all the complications from the band. so they suggested i get weight loss surgery as my body doesn't function on the higher calories. I had the sleeve done... and ive lost 22 pounds this month... I was considered a success as i lost all my excess weight.. but this was from starvation.. food would get stuck.. id have to get a fill unfill constantly... Now that i have the sleeve.... the sleeve is so so so much better... you feel restriction but its a comfortable restriction compared to the painful restriction with the band.... Please please please don't get it..... go for the sleeve or bypass

I went grocery shopping literally after i got discharged lol An actual outing for the day was around 7 days.. and it was a little tiring

hair - not much Young - 52 Dumbass - definitely Now that ive calmed down a little... its actually sad.. that we as a society are so focused on size.... yes i am chubby... but for a fatty... i can outrun any of my little tiny friends at the gym... im active and confident... thankfully... so to be judged is kinda annoying

Hey... i followed all the rules... i had my band for 6 years.. lost weight and got to goal. Unfortunately 5 years after it was placed i started having complications and had it removed 12 months later Ive been sleeved now for a month.. I know my words are not very encouraging... but other than following all the rules there isnt much more you can do. Eat slowly... dont adjust it too tight.. stay ontop of your fills, dont eat foods you know get stuck... stay in the green zone.

I know.. but i was completely dumbfounded i didn't know what to say... its been a while since anyone has actually called me fat...
