Ok so I am 8 days post op......I lost 16 on pre op diet but only 4 this week....am I expecting to much for the amount I eat it should be coming off faster....or am I just over thinking?

Yes I am having a difficult time reaching my liquid goals.....

My mother has a fancy smanchy scale.....I myself just bought myself a 12$ one....For me they weigh correct....my mothers supreme one always has me higher by 3 pounds or more.....my cheapy is accurate with the one at the hospital......and if I fire it over the balcony I am only out 12$ lol ...Good luck on your journey.... I realize it is all not about the numbers but is sure nice to see them go down I stream of up !

Found the first week was hard, just getting all the junk out of your system after that I made sure to drink a lot of water and gave myself a Gatorade at night and chicken broth really helped.....I am 6 days post op and by far the pre op diet was harder.....hang in there!

I am on day 7 of the pre op diet....yesterday was a baaaad day.....i was starving and the more i thought about it the hungrier i became.....every burger commercial....and even the new hot dog one at burger king (which i would never eat) looked amazing haha.....so now i am only watching netflix or the pvr for the rest of the week so i can fast forward the commercials ....driving me nuts.....

Today was a really bad day for me i am on day 6 of the liquid diet and i had the same thought today....almost gave up.....thought why cant i just do this on my own.....but you know what I wont.....i will go back to eating to the point nothing is good anymore anyway.....so hang in there, I am getting the sleeve as well on the 21st of April i am very nervous and worried about recovery time....but guarantee you that you will regret cancelling it.....as i would so i am trucking along.....add me as a friend we can keep each other motivated

I am starting my liquids tomorrow too. I am 3 Bariatric Advantage shakes a day. I bought a sak of Sonic ice so I can crunch on it when things are getting bad. I am on day 6 and every day is a struggle but I want this badly.....keep focus on the long term.....the hunger gets easier or less the further you go....as of day 5 i lost 12 lbs ...BUT must say it was the hardest 12 lbs i have ever lost....and i have done many diets....i found the first 4 days it was hard to keep my mind focused on anything.....i couldnt read didnt want to watch movies etc.....yesterday and today i am getting back into keeping my mind off things.....keep your eye on the prize....I thought of you wanting tacos the other day when i would of given my left arm for a steak haha.....chin up!

You are going back for the lap band? I am going on the 21st for the sleeve....my surgeon gave me the option of the lap band or sleeve....but he recommended the sleeve as the band they do not see as good of results as well as more complications....not that you cant eventually gain the weight back with the sleeve but have you considered a different option besides the band?

Today is day 4 of the pre op diet i get 4 boost shakes a day as well as 2 cups of certain veggies and clear liquid.....today is the only day my head wasnt feeling like it was going to fall off....I slept a lot as well and was really hungry yesterday....today was not so bad.....i am hoping tomorrow is better....but going into day 5 i do not want to see another boost lol.
