I don't know how different my story is from everyone elses but obesity is quiet new to me within the last year. For approximately a year I had horrible GERD and got to a point I couldn't even swallow water. After finally becoming healthy again, I guess you could say I ate and ate and ate. I gained 80lbs and now I am super uncomfortable. I do not feel like myself. I feel like since it came on so quick I haven't been able to prepare myself mentally for the emotional toll being over weight has. For years I didn't understand why someone whom was over weight couldn't just LOSE THE WEIGHT. They couldn't because its freaking hard. It's over whelming and depressing. I feel bad for ever thinking the way I did but now I fully understand. I am on a journey to be healthy again and be healthy I WILL!
