I am scheduled to have my sleeve sometime in August I am in so much pain every day (musculoskeletal)my doctor (PCP) said if I lost weight he thinks but will not guarantee guarantee that it will be better. All my tests were negative . HAs anybody had a tremendous amount of relief from musculoskeletal discomfort after their sleeve and weight loss?? please tell me a gets better. Well today was my 3rd out of fourth weigh in and I lost 5 pounds, yay me . It is also my 4th day without carbonated beverages !!! Also had my endoscopy at the hospital with my surgeon who by the way is amazing. Things are moving along at a fast speed. What does everyone mean by supervised weight loss ?? I have to be weighed for 4 consecutive months with no weight gain , I can lose but not significantly. Is this considered my supervised weight loss ? I am required to meet with a nutritionist for clearance. Or is the nutritionist my supervised weight loss ? @@hazelzay I actually have my psych and nutrition appt in the Roslyn office. I am 3 months into my 4 months of weigh ins that my ins requires . I have an appt every day this week at a specialist for clearance . Hoping to finish up by July for a August date . I'm pretty scared but so ready . My husband will be 2 weeks after me . I am only in the beginning stages , 2 weigh ins out of four completed and most of my ins criteria completed, getting ready to submit to ins in a few weeks. My surgeon hasn't mentioned a pre op diet yet ( I'm assuming it's too early) obviously I'm not the greatest dieter!! That's not a secret. What should I be doing ?? I have def been thinking before I eat , and have been drinking Water and exercising , but I seem to be having a food funeral at least every other day . My doctor said after the surgery you won't be hungry !! We remove the part of the stomach that creates the hormone that triggers hunger. ( my problem is I'm never full ) Please let me know who's hungry still ?? Is it true ?? I know you still need to have willpower but did you see a change after surgery ?? I think it depends on the workplace . People can be really mean . Where i work there are a lot of young people and different nationalities That might not agree with my decision to have WLS . I'm not too sure if they would comment negative or positive vibes . I don't need any negativity or stress when I return . So therefore I'm not going to share it at work .
