I am having horrible shoulder pain! It's usually only in my left shoulder, but tonight it was in both and my chest. I was in tears it hurt so bad. I read where doing windmills will help. Any other suggestions??? Sent from my XT1565 using the BariatricPal App

I am 4 days post op and having horrible shoulder pain at night, and tonight, it was in both shoulders and my chest. It actually brought me to tears. The heating pad does work a bit. I really hope this goes away soon. It helps to see I'm not alone in this experience. I am going to try doing windmills too. Sent from my XT1565 using the BariatricPal App

Thank you!! I am two days past today, and still dealing with a good bit of bloating. I can feel it in my back and in my chest. I can't tell when I'm hungry or bloated. One minute I will feel hungry, I take a sip or two of my shake and feel bloated. I'm only getting down two shakes a day and some strained Soup and then some drinks, but probably not as much as I should as far as drinks go. I end up feeling uncomfortable, so I stop. Hopefully the bloating goes away soon. Sent from my XT1565 using the BariatricPal App

Hi all! I'm scheduled for lap band surgery tomorrow. I'm nervous, excited, and everything in between. I've lost 17 pounds during the two week liquid phase. Should I expect to gain some of that back??? I'm trying to keep my expectations as realistic as possible. Thank you. Sent from my XT1565 using the BariatricPal App

I started my liquid diet phase yesterday and last night, I started feeling what I thought were hunger pains, but I think it's gas or bloat. It's at the top of my stomach, and I swear I can even feel it in my back. It's very weird. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I able to take something for it? Anyone not telling anyone about their surgery?

Jlnaron, just ignore them. They are probably uneducated and have NO idea, and are too ignorant to learn. You will show them when you feel and look fabulous. I have family members that are not being very supportive. I am using them as my motivation...I will use them and anyone else...they will be the ones left looking like fools while I look amazing! I actually did post something on mine this morning. All I said was that I am starting the first phase towards getting back to the old me, and making changes that I need to in order to feel better...didn't even mention weight loss, but kept it as overall self improvement...I hope it helps. Hi and thank you! My diet is 3 Protein shakes a day, 2 Protein Bars or meat sticks, sugar free Jello and sugar free drinks, to include coffee/tea. I'm hoping it's not too bad...I'm sure it will get tough at some point :-) Sent from my XT1565 using the BariatricPal App -

Hi, my name is Michele. I have told my family, and few close friends. I may regret telling that many, we shall see. My surgery is scheduled for April 19. I started my pre-op diet this morning. Sent from my XT1565 using the BariatricPal App -
