I'm having a consult with DR. Kurian... I have an appointment with NYU, Dr. fielding but I'm probably going to cancel that for two reasons... Don't like he has had malpractice suits and they make you pay $250 to meet the nutritionist at the first visit... I have a yorkie mix, Maltese/yorkie. He a mush, loves everyone, doesn't shed and very easy going. He tends to love to chew, I get him lots of bully sticks etc... I'm just beginning my sleeve journey but read your post about loss of your fur babies. I'm sorry, I reacted the same way when I lost my fur baby. The first week I was numb and than non stop eating of comfort food. One thing that helped me was I did a memorial for my fur baby at my house.Just a small gathering of friends who had been part of my fur babies life. Animals are another part of the family, yet we don't realize we need a way to say good-bye to them just like any other family member.
