Ask if you can be put on a cancellation list for psych appts. I know someone who hit there goal after me but got in to see someone before me. -

It may depend on the amount of weight loss before surgery. I was fully expecting to have to do a liquid diet. I loss 15lbs more than I was required to so he said no liquid diet needed. -
Freedom of speech is a right for everyone. She had a right to say it and those who disagree have a right to respond. There was no need to put in a dig calling another person's faith a fairy tale. It was unnecessary and had nothing to do with the OP original question.

I thought about doing this but my surgeon flat out stated that of I was even 1pound above my goal weight the day of surgery, he will cancel it. I'm not taking any chances. My only suggestion would be to be smart about. Keep the treat to one meal, like if you want Wild Wings have it for lunch but keep the rest of your meals healthy. Do that for every treat until you get it out of your system.

I was just approved yesterday and I'm still waiting on the date. I am ho g for March but they only have one available date left so it may be April. Hoping to hear back any day now.

I emailed my surgeon on Friday and dropped by yesterday. The surgeon emailed me yesterday to tell me I was approved and I just have to wait for a date. I will be calling the coordinator tomorrow to check in. -

@bekah7482 My psych eval was scheduled about a month out. I went in on January 6th to get officially weighes and to turn in my test. My psych eval was Feb 9th. They are short a psychologist and are subbing one from Union City. I just had my eval Thursday. I am hoping to have a date this week. -

I think it depends on your BMI, Current weight and health status. I've heard that a high BMI will result in a two week liquid diet. I'm preparing myself for that.

I had my psych eval yesterday! It went well and was not bad at all. Now just waiting to hear back from the surgeon! Now the fear is starting to set in. @@audaciousmarie Thank you! I could not believe the number on the scale. My scale battery died Tuesday so I was going in blind and completely paranoid. I'm glad it all worked out. You got this! I hope you are right with me. -

Had my official weigh in today...I made it! I have exceeded the weight loss I needed for surgery. My appt for my psych eval I about a month from now. I hope that I can have my surgery in Feb. Crossing my fingers. I'm so close! -
