  4. Hi Everyone, OK here is the situation, I was banded 4 1/2 weeks ago beginning of April. Everything seems to be going ok, but lately I have been having an aching pain in my lower ride side. (across from where my hip is) I don't think it is my appendix (because I can eat and I am not throwing up) I will call the doctor this week but I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this pain. could it be gas? It hurts when I walk, and feels much better when I sit down. The pain comes and goes. I have moved to solid food this week so could that be it? Thanks so much!!:tt1:

    What to do until fill????

Hi I am on the 4th week of being banded, and I am eating chicken salad from burger king. I just take small forkfulls and chew chew chew until almost puree consistency. I can only eat half a cup at a time. I haven't had any problems! But remember everone is different so take it slowley.
  7. OK I had surgery on April 8, 2008, that is about a week and a half ago. I know that isn't very long, and I think I am healing quit well! But here is the problem.... My incisions are healing very nicely, with no infections, but in one of the incisions (The one that is on the upper left almost under my breast, I feel a stabbing pain. If feels like a really bad sunburn in that one tiny spot. at some moments its worse than other moments. The pain is a small spot, but it just hurts like someone is pressing on a sunburn! what are your thoughts? I think it might be where my port is, I am not sure. Has anyone ever felt a pain like this? None of the other incisions hurt just this one. What was anyone elses diagnosis from their doctor regarding the pain? Of course I will call the doctor, but I am just curious what everyone else thought! As far as my diet goes, I am to be on full liquids for two weeks and then mushies for two weeks. I am a week and a half and I kind of started mushies (I think) nothing to heavy but not liquid either. Please give me your thoughts, the pain hurts and is unconfortable!!:confused2: P.S. I started at 174 on day of surgery and I am down to 162
  8. Hi Everyone! Well I was banded April 9,2008 just a few days ago. I am feeling massive bloating. When does the bloating stop? I can't seem to go to the bathroom eitheer. I can pee but nothing else. It is a little hard to pee sometimes. Whats going on? When does it stop? Also when does the soarness stop? Thanks
  9. HI, I will be having my surgery in Colorado, but I live in Palm Beach, florida. What is the best way for me to go about getting my fillls? Does anyone know of any doctors here in south florida? Also what should fills cost? My doctor in Colorado does the first 3 months of fills for free, but a plane ticket will cost me $400 alone! So please if anyone is familiar with the Miami South Florida area please let me know where I can go! Thanks a whole lot!!!!:w00t:

    For those who have PCOS

Hi everyone This is my first post. I will be having the Lap band surgery in the end of March. I am very excited. Unlike a lot of others my main goal is not to lose a ton of weight but to lose enough that I can have regular menstal cycles. Due to me having PCOS, I only menstate every 3 months. In order to be able to menstrate every month, I must lose 60 pounds. This is the only way I will be able to ever get pregnant and have a child. Is their anyone else out there who has had experience with what I am talking about? How long did it take to reach a goal like 6o pounds? Or who is doing this surgery to help them become pregnant in the future? Please respond and tell me your story, advice, or anything else you would like to share. I am 4'10 and I weigh 170. My goal is 105 How long should it take to lose 60pds. Thanks!
