I know what you are talking about that is why I responded DUH!. Your attitude sucks though. You need to adjust it. Not trying to be rude.

If you do a search, you can find a thread or two on this topic. Good luck.

Congratulations on your progress and good luck on your journey.

Optifast is expensive. When I had to do my preop diet, my doctor's office required that we buy from them and it was $125 for 1 week. That's way too much.

Congratulations and good luck!

Before and after Food Budgets
Blaze21 replied to AprilShowers2010's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I spend more on groceries. I don't eat out in restaurants and I don't order in. I wasn't a big fan of outside food before being banded anyway. -
First of all congratulations on reaching onederland. I'm sorry you are having trouble after your fills. I haven't had any issues afterf having fills like you described. I hope someone can assist you with your issues. Good luck.

What happens when you fill your band to the max?
Blaze21 replied to BellaNena's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I don't know what size band I have and how much is in there. My dr doesn't give that info out for whatever reason. I went to get a fill this past Monday and he was only able to put in a very little amount. He said that the band was kicking back fluid into the needle, so I don't know if I'm filled to the max. I do feel some restriction depending on what foods I eat. -
I'm not happy with the way my stomach looks. I have some loose skin but it seems to be bouncing back pretty well. I spend too much time in the mirror in my underwear picking myself apart. In my clothes I'm the cutest thing, lol. It's just something I have to work on.

I'm still here trying to get these last 26 lbs off. I'm not really concerned with the holiday eating. We didn't celebrate thanksgiving this year and christmas dinner is still up in the air. I'm having poor self image issues which have actually gone a little further than I thought, but I'll get through it. Hope all is well with you guys/gals. :wink2:

I'm in the same place mentally. I have lost 96 lbs and weigh 161 lbs. People tell me I look like I weigh 130 lbs. They are completely shocked when I tell them that I am still overweight for my height of 5-5. I do carry my weight well(whatever that means), but I still see myself in the mirror as that 257 lb woman I used to be. I don't feel any difference really and when I look in the mirror, it's even worse. I continue to pick myself apart. I have always seen myself as a weight, instead of a person who weighs xyz. I have about 26 more lbs that I would like to lose, but for me it might as well be the 96 lbs that I have already lost(if that makes sense). I hope eventually I can get past this because it's really no good to think and be this way. Thanks for letting me vent. :wink2:

Congratulations on getting your date. Good luck on your journey.

I know where you are coming from. I boycotted chicken and fish for sometime now. I just started eating chicken again the other day. I don't have any suggestions to replace those with, other than turkey. I eat ground turkey, turkey sausage and I mix it it up. Turkey sausage with peppers and onions are great. I use the hot italian turkey sausage, either jenni-o or shady brook farms. Add a little sauerkraut and your good to go.

I don't know if your surgeon's office sells it as mine does. You can also check ebay.

I haven't personally tried a smooth fitness machine. They're a little out of my price range but they look very sturdy and have a lot of good features.
-
Sears also carries these brands if you want to try them out before you buy.

Check out proform.com or nordictrack.com Same company. They make good quality machines. I have a proform xp 160 elliptical and a proform 415s treadmill. I also have a weslo upright bike, which is also from the same company, icon fitness.
