Gummie vitamins vs chewables
Blaze21 replied to exumtam's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Does anyone take calcium gummies? I just bought some children's calcium gummies from Target, and they tasted pretty good. I take about 6 a day. They aren't as sweet as the calcium chews. I don't like sweet stuff anymore, so I don't take the chews. I also found an adult calcium gummy on vitacost where I would only have to take 4 a day. I will be buying those this week. -
I'm also 5 5 and a half. I weigh about 155 lbs and I can stand to lose another 25-30 lbs. My shoe size is a women's 10, but I have a small frame.

What was/is your Daily Caloric Intake while on pre-Op diet
Blaze21 replied to PalmBayTish72's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was on the optifast for one week. It was 5 shakes and 2 bars a day. About 750 calories a day. -
I can eat texas toast as long as the whole piece is well toasted and crunchy. That's my little treat. Other than that, I cannot eat bread, toasted or not.

I have an Android phone and I use an app called calorie counter to count my calories and journal my weight. I also use an app called calories calculator to show me how much I should eat to maintain and lose weight.

Veterans - what do you wish you had known on day 1?
Blaze21 replied to LapNYC's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would have started exercising sooner. I would have at least started a regular walking routine right after being banded. -
That was cute. Thanks for sharing.

Do you FEEL fat????????
Blaze21 replied to esv2000's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have lost 101 pounds and I still feel fat. Granted, I don't feel like I did when I was 257 lbs, but nonetheless, I feel fat. I have about 20 left to lose before I reach goal. Everyone around me has said that I have lost too much weight. Mind you, I am still overweight for my height. Hopefully when I get to goal, my head will catch up with my body. -
I watched the first episode and I found it to be boring as well.

HELP!!!! these shakes are gross!
Blaze21 replied to kathyNH's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I don't know if you are using the optifast power or the ready to drink. I found the powder tastes gross, but I liked the ready to drink optifast. I added a little frozen fruit or 1/2 of a banana in the shakes. That made them taste better. -
