Goal Size vs Goal Weight
Blaze21 replied to 2911plans's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My goal weight would put me in a 2-4. I'm in a 6 now, and I'm still pretty big. When I lose these last 22 lbs, I'll be happy at whatever size I'm in. -
Do you have access to a nutritionist as part of your surgical team? He/she would be able to guide you in the right direction as far as nutrition is concerned. Getting fills sometimes are hit or miss. You won't know whether or not the next fill will work until after you get it. You just have to hold on until you can get in to see the doctor. You went through a lot of work not to mention the time spent to get the surgery, now is not the time to throw in the towel. You have to push through. I hope someone else can further assist you. Good luck!

I ate yogurt and cottage cheese and protein shakes on the mushy stage. I absolutely refused to puree my food or eat baby food.

Don't really care about goal anymore?
Blaze21 replied to LeighaMason's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I care about reaching goal. I am about 22 lbs from my goal weight. I just want to be in a healthy weight range and those 22lbs will get me there. -
Odd protein drink question
Blaze21 replied to gbakerc's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I get that too when I make my shake. I just wait for the foam to settle, then I drink my shake. -

These last 18 lbs...
Blaze21 replied to Teacher2010's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have about 22 lbs to go and the scale isn't moving. I feel your pain. Have you tried mixing up your exercise routine or upping you calories for a day or two then lowering them for a day or two, to trick your body -
I have kicked him to the curb!

Congratulations on moving on from a bad relationship and the weight loss. Good luck. -
I'm sorry to hear that you've been denied. Why don't you just do the additional 3 months so you can have more security knowing you will get approved? It's really not that much time if you think about it.

How much have you lost July Butterfllies??
Blaze21 replied to lotzasunshine's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
It has been very hard and these last pounds aren't budging. I've been exercising this week, but my routine still isn't consistent enough to make more progress. -

105 lbs down, 22 to go. -
Just checking in. Last week I had a craving for chocolate chip cookies, so I went out and bought a package. I ate some, well I ate too many, not the whole package, but still too many. I got on the scale a few days later and it was up 2 lbs. I don't believe I ate 7000 calories worth of cookies, but whatever. This week has been pretty bad. I discovered that I can tolerate my whole grain spaghetti and have been eatin that with ground turkey meatsauce this week. It's almost gone. Today will be the last of it. Anywho, I'm trying to get these 2 lbs off as well as my last 20 lbs so I can reach goal.

How long before you loved your Band?
Blaze21 replied to delopez3's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm in like with it, but not in love with it. I'm almost 2 years post op. -
It's rough. Trust me I know. I had and E cup before the band and after losing 105 lbs, I am down to what apperas to be a c cup. I haven't been measured since banding though. I would like a lift, no implants. They scare me. But realistically, I cannot afford that and my insurance sure isn't going to cover a breast lift for me. I just have to deal with it until I become rich, lol.
