My doctors gave me a combination of medicines and it helped. How are you with Water?Sent from my DASH 5.0+ using the BariatricPal App Oddly enough, water tastes funny. I'm only going to the bathroom 1-2 Times daily and it's not much. I'm afraid I'm getting dehydrated. I'm sipping as much as I can. Usually 30oz max. Suggestions appreciated.

I'm having problems getting enough fluids and protein. My taste changed after my surgery, I didn't expect that. Protein shakes, smoothies make me very nauseated. I can sip popsicles. Any advice appreciated.

I'm having excessive salvia as well. I notice it happens when I gulp, swallow to fast, etc. I am taking stomach medications that are prescribed. Gas X may help you. It's my new friend! -

I'm having trouble getting the protein drinks down. My tastes has completely changed and I wasn't expecting that. Even looking at the packages makes me sick. I don't recommend New Whey. It's all sickly sweet and tastes the same to me. Can you taste unflavored powdered? -

I'm 3 weeks out and having the same problem. Everything tastes different. I'm having problems getting my protein in. I can't stand the protein drinks or shakes. Looking at them, the smell....I want to vomit. Any suggestions anyone????
