    Scared out of my mind

Prayers and much success for all you May 9ers...I don't have a date yet...possibly still about 4-6weeks out...but experiencing all these emotions already. I am SICK AND TIRED of being this size and unable to do such simple things check my mail, pump my gas, stand in the shower, stand at the stove, etc. Surgery IS a big step but a small price for the return. If I only get to 250 I will feel so happy, happy!!!! Sent from my 0PAJ5 using the BariatricPal App
  4. Just had my first visit this week...but didn't get a good nutritional picture on going forward. I already take a lot of supplements...no one addresses any impact changes and additions may have on my regular meds and otc. Also the one sheet I received regarding the step down diet was extremely basic. I almost felt like it was open to interpretation. Any suggestions on specific questions I should be asking and to whom?... My primary, my bariatric surgeon, the nutritionist or the nurse???? Sent from my 0PAJ5 using the BariatricPal App

    8 weeks post-op (sleeve)

Try to start slowly exercising. It will help. I started the gym 4 months after surgery and I can't believe how much it has helped define my results. I added a pic for you to see ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1459207220.932607.jpg Awesome Sent from my 0PAJ5 using the BariatricPal App

  17. I totally understand...my bmi os 52 and I never saw me that large. Even when I see myself in the mirror..I accept it as the mirror is a little skewed and because I'm in a wheelchair I am bound to look a little squat. My first great granddaughter is 18 months and wants nothing more than to sit in gammys lap....but I have none. I know the time is now to make changes. You and I ...and others are on the right path...we've begun a better way of living. Plz don't feel ugly....it's just a shell we've worn for a time and are about to shed that shell into a whole new life. Sent from my 0PAJ5 using the BariatricPal App

    You're Cheating

Hi I'm in Covington...STPH. I've only had my first visit with the surgeon and nutritionist. Not sure what the process is yet. I know his office spoke with my insurance company. But when do you know everything's a GO! They gave me the packet, step down diet to start and 1 month follow up appointment....but that's pretty much all I know. 24. Had home study but also had a lab study. Lab study was okay but strange knowing someone is watching you sleep. Home study has to be repeated...it did not read. Finger piece too loose. Lab study was years ago...Will probably have to do the lab study again to get best reading. Sent from my 0PAJ5 using the BariatricPal App
