For those of you with kids.
MahoganySlim replied to choicemun's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Kids are very intuitive!!! I have a 5 year old and I just explained to him that mommy was going to the hospital. I told him that the Dr was going to help mommy feel better (I was also suffering from back issues due to weight gain). He understood. I just kept it simple. I also told him that mommy would need him to be her hepler for a little while until I was not achy anymore. He loved that part! MahoganySlim -
MARCH SLEEVERS?
MahoganySlim replied to MRSJONES305's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I totally understand your struggle! I found that being prepared and having Snacks on standby helped tremendously! I'm a true foodie and it doesnt take much to set me off!!! Prepared snacks helped me. And I also made sure that I ate the mandatory meals/shakes on time so that I wouldn't be fighting hunger AND temptation!! As long as you're prepared mentally, you'll be fine! Just keep trying to focus on the bigger pictureb it's all worth it! You got this!! MahoganySlim -
