I have been doing all types of home improvement projects and working overtime at work to get my mind off this liquid diet. Then the rumble in my stomach shows up and reminds me!???? I know this is a difficult decision but if it was me, I would have the surgery on 6/13. I have 3 children whom I have put through high school and if I threw them a party, they will be responsible for the clean up. I know what is like to make a sacrifice for our children. But, sometimes we, as mothers should put our desires first, particularly when our children can handle the situation. It sounds like you leaning/hoping the nurses don't strike. I'm 46 and I LOVE IT!!!! Deciding to have the surgery on 2 weeks has made me feel I really have control over my life. I'm looking forward to living life to the fullest and not being given afraid to try new things because of the fear of being rejected because of being fat. Come on surgery. I'm struggling with this Pre Op diet. This is my second day and I only can have 4 Protein drinks, crystal light and raw vegetables. I was exercising but the liquid diet has me with no energy.
